No, these do NOT have to be refrigerated. I have been taking these for over 2 years. Two questions:  does this work better than swanson probiotic 4?  also, how large are the capsules compared to swanson probiotic 4?  thank you.

Thanks for your questions!  While we are unable to say which will work better, we are happy to compare the two items.  Both have 3 billion viable organisms, with the 16 Strain Probiotic offering a wider variety in the types of strains.  Both have a prebiotic to help the probiotics in the intestines (125 mg for Probiotic 4 and 50 mg for 16 Strain Probiotic), and the 16 strain also includes a small amount of a trace mineral complex (12.5 mg).  The 16 Strain Probiotic is the smaller capsule.  We hope this information helps!

If FOS feeds the bad bacteria, why is it in here?

They put it there to feed the beneficial bacteria.but it's acting against people how have candida,  sibo or food allergies because it stimulate the levels of E coli. It is best to get it from your diet like artichoke,  onions, garlic. I hope it helps.
