I do volunteer work at a couple nursing homes & this is my “go to favorite comb” for many reasons. I use it to section the hair when I’m curling it & I use it in one hand to comb the hair up or down while clamping the curling iron on to the section I’m combing & as I roll the curling iron towards the scalp I place the plastic part of the comb between the curling iron & their scalp to get the tightest curls without burning them & it works like a charm! This comb is very durable! The quality is excellent! It’s been holding up against the barrel of curling iron that’s 400* plus for a while now & it hasn’t melted this comb anywhere at all! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Can take the heat on a straightener, and keeps my hair smooth and straight.

Works good parting hair. Easy to comb through hair and i have long hair. Seems to be durable with thick hair

The comb has a nice smoothly pointed pintail which is what i use for parting. It has another parting feature at the top of the comb that i use as well although i find the pintail more precise.

It is a comb. I haven't had one like this before but got it for parting and it is definitely better than what I was working with before. My parts are much more clean and I can get my parts a lot smaller than I could before. It seems pretty sturdy and durable but I've only used it for a day so I really can't tell you about the long run. It got the job done today though.

I love this tail comb! The tip of this comb is great for carving out a section and the tail is great for tucking in any of those little stray hairs.
