I wear this size, blue stripe, on my lower legs, and I am a 6ft male. When I have ulcers, it holds dressings in place. When I don't have ulcers it acts as a liner for compression stockings. Any break in the skin stains the bandage and gives me "early warning" to put a dressing on before the wound becomes a problem. Reading comments from people who hve had problems, I think that they need the next size down, the red stripe, because they seem to be using the bandage on their arms. The blue stripe works on lower legs and yellow stripe works if I want to take the bandage above the knee. I hope that is helpful.

The perfect size for my daughter's wrists and forearms - for when her eczema flares up and we need to add balm and/or stop her from scratching. Cuts to size easily and cleanly. One roll lasts for several months.

Miles better than other tubular bandages I've used. The material is soft & comfortable, and lightweight enough that double/triple layering is not a problem. The fact that the elasticity only works one way (so you can stretch it widthways around the limb but not lengthways) is really helpful as it means it stays in place better than other bandages. Considering I've paid a similar amount for just one metre of lower quality tubular bandage before, this is great value. Unfortunately it just "sheds" a lot of small pieces of material, this seems to be worst when you first cut it and gets better over time but never quite goes away. I wouldn't recommend placing this directly over any open wounds as the debris could get inside and cause complications.

Excellent quality elasticated tubular stretch viscose bandage. I needed this for my legs and feet, and it was just the right size, and you can cut it to the length that you need, so there's no waste.

I've used tubular bandage for years. It's a basic item in my first aid kit. This product looks fine , and appears to be up to usual standard, but I don't think I have ever received an item so badly damaged in transit. The box was enclosed in an Amazon brown envelope, which was intact, but the product box looks like it's been through a shredder. Definitely doesn't inspire confidence. I shall be looking for a different supplier next time I need this basic item. Plenty out there.
