Review: Does not have clear description for which cars it fits and cost £113.69 to return! - I hardly ever write bad reviews as a business owner I know the damage it can do but people need to be aware that this product as advertised does not clearly show which cars it fits saying "most Sedans, Hatchbacks and SUVs" I have a Sedan and SUV and it did not fit either. I would not have minded if it was free returns as it would just have been a small inconvenience but even though it was distributed by desertcart for some reason I had to be sent to the US desertcart returns department at my expense costing £113.69! Almost as much as the product. I cannot understand why this cannot be returned to a UK depot as there must be a significant amount of deliveries between the US and UK by desertcart which would have cost them a fraction of the cost. ## Features - Fits most sedans, hatchbacks, minivans and SUV's - Single configuration design eliminates headaches during set-up and installation - Patented tie-down system individually secures bicycles - Fully assembled - sets up and installs in seconds - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. - Simple, sturdy design fits most sedans, hatchbacks, minivans, and SUV's - Single configuration design eliminates setup hassles and headaches during installation - Individual tie-downs secure and protect bicycles - Fully assembled, installs in seconds - Padded lower frame protects vehicle, and left and right side straps for lateral stability ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00TRTS5Z2 | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | 2,898 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 1 in Bike Carriers | | Brand | Allen | | Brand Name | Allen | | Colour | Black | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 690 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00765271104108 | | Included Components | Bicycle carrier. | | Is Foldable | Yes | | Is foldable | Yes | | Item Type Name | Deluxe Bike Rack for 4 Bikes | | Item Weight | 181 g | | Item weight | 181 g | | Load Capacity | 7E+1 LB (for 2 bikes) | | Manufacturer | Allen Sports USA | | Manufacturer Part Number | 104DB-R | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Model Number | 104DB-R | | Mounting Type | Strap | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | UPC | 765271104108 | | Unit Count | 4.0 count | | Vehicle service type | Car | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Allen - **Colour:** Black - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00765271104108 - **Is foldable:** Yes - **Item weight:** 0.4 Pounds - **Load capacity:** 7E+1 LB (for 2 bikes) - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Mounting type:** Strap - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **Vehicle service type:** Car ## Images ![Allen Sports USA Deluxe 4-Bike Trunk Mounted Bicycle Carrier for Automobile - Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aCEfcCJcL.jpg) ![Allen Sports USA Deluxe 4-Bike Trunk Mounted Bicycle Carrier for Automobile - Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81UaBy0QyBL.jpg) ![Allen Sports USA Deluxe 4-Bike Trunk Mounted Bicycle Carrier for Automobile - Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61BUpkazj8L.jpg) ![Allen Sports USA Deluxe 4-Bike Trunk Mounted Bicycle Carrier for Automobile - Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71e+mJ9+mrL.jpg) ![Allen Sports USA Deluxe 4-Bike Trunk Mounted Bicycle Carrier for Automobile - Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/7102oDNolqL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it fit 2004 toyota solara** A: Works fine on a Corolla. The manufacturer has a rack finder tool I'll suggest you use. https://allensportsusa.com/pages/rack-finder If your vehicle is not listed I'd look for another product. **Q: Is there enough room to use this on the back of the car and still tow our pop up camper?** A: yes **Q: Can this be used for kids bikes and adult bikes?** A: I've used this for years with my old road bike and my wife's... unfortunately, some of the newer style of road bikes don't fit: they have larger tubes and that reduces the space between the front and rear parts of the frame. **Q: Will this work for a chrysler town and country minivan?** A: We have a Pacifica and the bike rack fell off the first time we used the. They are designed for minivans, but I would find a better quality product. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent, just what we wanted *by M***R on 10 February 2024* This is an excellent bike rack it is very easy to use, it fits both our BMW 1 series and Ford focus no problems. I would not have minded if it was free returns as it would just have been a small inconvenience but even though it was distributed by Amazon for some reason I had to be sent to the US Amazon returns department at my expense costing £113.69! Almost as much as the product. I usually put 2 adult bikes along with 2 children's bicycles. No issues, other than it is a tight fit. Mind you, if you take your time, you'll get the bikes to fit. You'll have to make some adjustments with pedals etc. Once the bikes are on, give the straps one last tug. As an added security measure, I lock the last two bikes together in the highly unlikely situation of the last bike falling off. I purchased this 2 years ago, and would recommend it. We have two vehicles, and have used this rack on a sedan and an SUV. ## Frequently Bought Together - Allen Sports Deluxe 4-Bike Trunk Mount Rack, Model 104DB-R , Black - Allen Sports Crossbar for Transport on Step-Through Style Bikes - Allen Sports 8 Ft Polyester Cargo Straps With Padded Cam Buckles (500 lb Break Strength), Model 508S --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://macau.desertcart.com/products/50383540-allen-sports-usa-deluxe-4-bike-trunk-mounted-bicycle-carrier](https://macau.desertcart.com/products/50383540-allen-sports-usa-deluxe-4-bike-trunk-mounted-bicycle-carrier) --- *Product available on Desertcart Macau* *Store origin: MO* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
