Solid tool for the money
Reasonably well built and the included lugs and shrink sleeves are good quality. Wish it came with a carrying case for storage. Consider getting the option with the cutter. It comes with a carrying case.

Nice set but no auto battery terminals.
Fast shipping good price, 4 stars just because the terminal ends aren't all sizes. I think they stop at like 6 gauge. So if you need bigger terminals for batteries your buying them separately as was my case. The cutters and crimpers are nice.

Definitely a great buy.
My husband is always upgrading our vehicles' sound systems. Before we got this he was using a hammer and whatever he could find outside to use as a back base. These work great! It doesn't take long to figure out how to use them. We are always needing the luggage connectors to. You do have to use some force to crimp the bigger cable sizes. He loves it though.

good for hobbyists and works well
having never owned a large crimper for doing battery cables, I researched this to death and decided to give this one a whirl. I will say that the parts that came with it seem to be of not the greatest quality but it was just as expensive to get the stuff with than just buy the crimpers. I did a 2 and 4 gauge battery cable and this thing performed flawlessly. not sure now why I didn't buy one years ago. it would have saved me a lot of headaches with car stereo installs over the years. all that said if I was running a shop or doing quite a bit of crimping I'd look for a more "professional" unit but for the couple times a year I will use this, it fits the bill for the price paid....

Good Price for DIY Projects
Decent price but the crimping is pretty subpar. The size settings for the included lugs don't result in a tight crip, I found I had to go down a size from what they suggested but then I ended up with a fairly ugly crimp that needed to have a ridge bent down with some pilers. Overall it works for the occasional DIY project.

Great tool with great variety of supplied connectors
I was new to building a power center for my van conversion project, but this kit was perfect for a newbie. Very pleased with the results and it had a variety of copper connections that covered the gamut of wire gauges.

Poor fastner quality. Fails under load.
Bolt sheared off on pivot. Was using these for crimping 2 awg wires and on the 3rd connection the bolt sheared off. Both fastners had the threads stripped and the nut was just loose spinning. Might be a one off but still should have been caught in quality control.

Correct termination of high current devices is dangerous
This a solid set of complimentary tools. Don't work on high amperage dev8ces such as a solar array/inverter without the best time terminals that will resist thermal runaway

gets the job done and a good value
it gets the job done, it's not hydraulic but it doesn't need to be, for the money it's good! sizing chart can be a little off depending on the ends your using gotta have a bit of common sense
