I love this long handled, lightweight spatula. It works great on a WOK, but also a large frying pan. I am so tickled that this tool is so versatile, easy to use and keep clean. Purchased to use with a new wok - this proved itself to be much more useful than I first expected. Well worth the price as of 3-14. A strong 5 star rating.

I just like the durability of bamboo utensils, they are simple tools but for super hot woks, you can't use the new style plastic/polymer spatchulas, i tried and the edge did melt. But these take a lot of abuse and rinse off easily and do not damage the woks surface, and the price is right.

I was using metal wok spatulas, including a popular metal one with a bamboo handle sold here. Turned food great but it kept wearing and scratching the seasoning on my carbon steel wok. So I got this bamboo one instead. It's a little smaller than the metal ones and obviously with a rounded wooden leading edge it doesn't "shovel" under food quite as efficiently, but it's effective enough. I've gotten used to using it and the difference doesn't bother me. While my seasoning is well on its way towards full recovery... There is an angle in the neck which is nice. The burnished bamboo does not really noticeably absorb liquids and accomplishes that without any extra coating, both pluses. Cleans easily. Cheap enough that if anything happens to it you can replace it without regret. Of maybe 16 utensils kept in containers by the stove, this is one of my top 4 users.

We bought this angled spatula to go with our wok, but use it with all of our pans. The angled spatula helps to ensure that nothing is missed when stirred. We love that the nothing stains the bamboo, not even spaghetti sauce. Ours came exactly as described and we had no issues getting the sticker off like some other reviewers posted about.

Shopped around in catalogs and on line and found this gem on Amazon as a Prime member for a really good price. The handle length is perfect...not so long as to be unwieldy and not too short as to disappear in a large pot. The slightly squared and straight edge end allows a cleaner scraping of the bottom of a pot, pan, skillet or wok than you get with a spoon type oval ended spoon. Love my great spatula!

The spatula I received was similar to what was shown, but with a very key difference. The edge of the spatula is completely flat. Theres no curve to the edge, nor are the corners rounded. This change made it completely useless for me so I returned it. Its a big spatula, so I wouldn't bother with it if you have anything smaller than a 12 inch wok.

I got this item refunded because when I removed the small label it left a sticky residue which I haven't been able to remove. Unfortunately it was on the business end of the spatula and I don't want to use it. Why didn't they put the label on the handle or, better, use an adhesive which can be cleaned off?

careful with this. broke after 2 uses. handle snapped off from the tool. use very carefully to avoid it happening to you.
