Not stainless. Not durable. At least, I expected stainless.

Used it today for the first time and found it quite efficient. Steamed carrot and beet and it took very less time.

First of all I am surprised with the Amazon packaging, the product came in a brown paper bag with no padding and was just covered with a plastic wrap. The metal is of very bad quality and the piece is defective and full of scratches. Half of the utensil opens to its fullest and the other half doesn’t because the mental has defective bends on the inside of some portions where it is supposed to fold. I would buy something like this from a local Monday market for cheaper and not complain. But Amazon selling such substandard products is unacceptable. Returning this immediately.
