Good quality fruit tree.
This purchase was a typical fruit tree offering. It came with its leader growth cut off pre delivery as expected. On making this feed back it has been in the ground for about 12 months. On arrival it was as expected root stock with main center growth cut off. Over the past 12 months it has grown very well and has tripled its size on planting. It proformed as expected, grown very good but will take further time to show its potential properly.

Dead stick to nice green tree! Pleased with purchase
When it arrived it looked like a dead stick with quite a few buds knocked off in transit, but once planted with loving care, it came to life and is now looking pretty healthy, if a bit lop-sided. No blossom this time - probably planted too late. Pleased with my tree and looking forward to plums maybe next year.

Absolutely awful!
In all the time we have been using Amazon (over 2 decades now) we have never given a one star review - until now. We bought 5 bare rooted ‘fruit ready’ 4-5 ft fruit trees from Beechwood Trees (3fatpigs on Amazon) - 2 Victoria Plums and 3 Apple trees. These arrived at the beginning of December (2025). Obviously at that time of the year the trees were dormant. However, we were not very happy with the state of the trees, they had been severely pruned (badly) but we accepted them and planted them out the very day they arrived and eagerly awaited Spring. It took till April for any of the trees to show budding and one plum showed no sign of life at all. By mid May, the trees were still in a very delicate position - see images - barely hanging on and the Victoria Plum that we believe was DOA, continued to show no life whatsoever. We then contacted the Nursery to tell them of our disappointment and our belief that the one tree was definitely DOA but after requesting a photograph they came back with the curt reply ‘they died from lack of water’ and promptly closed the case before we had a chance to reply that this was rubbish as we have just endured one of the wettest winters and early Spring on record and the few days it has been dry, we watered the trees and once fed them. Since photographing the trees, the second plum tree has regressed with only one small branch retaining its leaves, whether it (and indeed the other trees) will survive, we have our doubts. We can only truthfully say from our experience, we wasted our money and you should avoid using this company if you want good fruit trees. (We did buy two more plum trees late last year from a different supplier and they are looking very healthy - the difference between them and the trees we bought from Beechwood is startling - And they were cheaper too!) We could not recommend this Company for it’s customer service or the quality of their fruit trees and can only suggest you treat this company with caution!

Not what I expected and I'd be astounded if this is ready to fruit for at least 2 years !
Just about 5ft in height but a very immature sapling and I would say without hesitation that this will not bear any fruit for at least 2 - 3 years. I have some experience of fruit trees having planted numerous in the past, including a mixed fruit orchard. The description of the sapling is in my view somewhat misleading and when it arrived one of the branches was broken. I am annoyed with myself because the same day this arrived my local Tesco was selling bare root fruit trees for £7 each or 2 for £12. This included Victoria plum, pear cherry and apple - And they were taller and much sturdier and healthier looking plants ! I bought 2 very healthy looking Conference pear trees for £12. Very poor value for money for the quality of the item purchased.

Quality plant
I would buy from this seller again since the plant was delivered in good condition, about three feet high and healthy looking. Since I planted it, tiny buds are appearing and it looks well. Altogether I am very pleased with it because, as a very amateur gardener I didn't have too many high expectations and certainly didn't expect the quality plant that I received.

... as I only orders it last Thursday that was pretty good. The quality and price was excellent value ...
I received my big juicy Victoria plum tree today and as I only orders it last Thursday that was pretty good. The quality and price was excellent value for money. (But) to my horror and I have to report this, the dilivery guy turned up and rang my bell but before I could actually get to the door which was only seconds away I heard rustling and reshuffling the guy was to my horror trying with all his might to push it through my letter box!!!! I opens the door and had to tell him to stop! How the he'll he thought he was going to fit the root ball which was pretty big through my letter box is beyond me! And I had to gently try and get this tree back out of the letter box by which time the dilivery man had took off. Well I never! The tree has a few stuffs on it and it looks ok but if my tree doesn't make it I will ask for another one. A very shocked customer!.

Fruit trees
Packaged well, delivered before scheduled date. The trees look very healthy, sturdy and a great size (5ft). I'm very happy. I ordered 3 fruit trees and they all came together in 1 package, all trees individually labelled. Very happy and look forward to planting them out.
