Excellent design.
WOW! Installed in 5 minutes. Worked immediately. Push-button, no battery. Integral socket means a power-point isn't lost. Loud enough.

An easy to install system that works well
I previously had a wireless doorbell that was integrated into a double mains socket, however, it was not very loud so I ended up buying two more to install at different locations around the house. Unfortunately, the bell push became very intermittent and, despite changing the battery, needed to be pressed several times before it was able to sound the ringer integrated into the sockets and I missed hearing many callers. Hence, I bought this set consisting of two ringer units and a bell push. Installing them was very easy and took just a few moments. The ringers are simply plugged into a three-pin mains outlet and have a pass-through socket to enable an appliance to be still used. However, there is a warning not to use anything greater than 2000 watts in the EU or the UK. The bell push comes with a double-sided sticky pad to attach it near the door. Two screws and plugs are also included if it's preferred to attach it this way. Unlike my previous system, the bell push in this one does not need a battery. The ringers are quite loud enough, louder than my previous system. The only thing that took some time was to cycle through hearing all the 60 different ringtones, many of which are quite musical and some sound for a long time. Although the ringtones are generated electronically I'm happy with the quality and the choice of them. I plugged a ringer into a socket above the kitchen worktop for convenience whilst listening to the different ring tones. After deciding on one particular tone I re-located the ringer to a suitable location and it kept the same settings. I chose white and, though they are not as neat a solution as my previous system, they are not obtrusive. Regarding range, I installed the bell push next to the front door and the ringers in the hall and back room and they rang first time and every time which is all that I required them to do. To test the range I've tried a ringer in a back bedroom and also a detached concrete walled utility room at the rear of the house and it still rang which I considered to be impressive, although it failed to ring when I tried it in a shed beyond the utility room and about 20 metres (60') down the back garden. It's too soon to know how weather resistant the bell push is and it's in a sheltered porch anyway. I'm very happy with the doorbell system and happy to recommend it.

SIMPLE TO SET UP
Very good item, easy to install, BUT the instructions in the pack tell you what you can’t use the socket for (eg kettle, extension lead)) which is not mentioned in the description on line, I have used it for my telephone extension plug, and my charger plug which are low voltage. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Large choice of ringtones but I’ve used the ordinary ding dong one. Very loud volume or softer if wanted. No battery needed for bell push which was a great plus for me.

Excellent doorbell
This is really good. We used to have a Eufy video doorbell, but that was such a pain, we seriously regretted buying it. This doesn't, of course, have video capability, but that doesn't matter at all. This doesn't need wiring or batteries and it's really easy to install. Great value for money as well!

Goid quality and great price
I am really impressed with this doorbell kit. For so long I have needed a doorbell with two fingers. One gor front door so whoever rings my bell can hear it ringing to confirm they have rung the bell. And the 2nd ringer, so i can hear someone at my front door from the back of the house. So easy to set up and has been tested and both ringers work perfectly so I do not have to struggle hearing who is at my front door. One of the easiest doorbell kits I have ever used and for the price I am amazed at the quality of this product and the speed it was delivers and well packaged. This kit has helped me so much. Sometimes the bell may have to be pressed twice to set off the ringer. But it could just be me in the way I press the doorbell. But besides this, it serves my purpose.

Very simple to set up.
The door bell was quick to put up, and worked first time. The default settings are load enough for me, and the bell can be heard in all the rooms without the bell. You do have to be careful what you plug into the sockets, as the are only rated for 2000W (less than 10amps); no heaters, kettles or small ovens.

Very good doorbell.
My mother is 80 years old. Her hearing is particularly bad. This doorbell comes with 2 plugins, and is ideal for one to put upstairs and the other downstairs. The volume is really good. There are different chimes to choose from. The main doorbell part is easily screwed into the outer wall using the screw holes from the old doorbell. I especially like the idea that the system used when pressing the button doesn’t need any batteries because each time you press the button it regenerates its own built in power system. Overall I quite impressed with how it works. The price is not the cheapest around, but it is when you factor in that there are two plugins. If things change I’ll reassess my review, but for now I’m very happy with this doorbell system.

Easily installed and working well so far
This doorbell set was easy to install and has been working well. We previously had another old-style (not smart) doorbell set with a battery bell push and three sounders, two also battery powered. That had various problems with batteries running out and also with callers not managing to press the button firmly enough. This Tecknet doorbell has no battery problems. It does need a nice firm press, but so far we haven't noticed anyone having a problem with it. We doubted that two sounders would be enough, but so far it seems OK. It looks as though we could add another sounder if we think we need it, though it's a shame we don't seem to be able to buy one without another bell push. I was also a bit concerned about the pass-through socket and the warnings about limiting what you plug in. However, reading the actual limits it looks as though our vacuum cleaner will be fine; an electric kettle would be too much, but we were never going to plug one of those in there. I suspect that the limitation looks worse than it really is because most of the documentation is worded to work for the US as well as the UK. I think the limitation is really on the number of amps that the sounder can pass through its socket and because the US generally has less than half the voltage we use in the UK, a US appliance of any given power will take more than twice as many amps as its equivalent in the UK. So look closely at the limits and at the amperage of anything you want to plug in, but expect that most UK appliances will tale less than Tecknet's limit.
