I love this water bottle. I keeps my drink cold all day. Often the ice is still in the bottle after an over night. I love that the straw folds down. You don't have to worry about leaks or spills. I've owned two Hydro Flasks, and I've generally been pleased with the product. It does a good job keeping the internal liquid cool, even when exposed to high temperatures due to direct sunlight or even in a sauna (hey, a person gets thirsty in there!). I love the new flex straw lid design with handle, as I drink water all day and like to be able to take a large container of said water on the go. But these darn things just can't take a fall from any reasonable heights. After an epic, three foot high plummet from a table in my garage to the floor, the bottom of my flask is dented and unable to reliably stand up straight. This occurred even though the bottom of the flask was covered with a protective boot. Another small fall, this time from my hands to my driveway, resulted in a golf ball sized dent in the rim. And woe to those who accidentally let their hydro flask roll sideways on asphalt. My bottle was accidentally kicked during an outdoor basketball game, and the resulting scratches make it seem as if a cat were scratching at it, having mistaken it for a scratching post. Now, I am admittedly a klutz who does stupid things that routinely result in minor damages. That said, I would expect a product that is this pricey, not to mention designed to be travelled with, would be more durable when exposed to the above instances of klutziness.

I was pleased with my purchase. I took my bottle to Egypt with 95-113 degree heat. I wouldn't say the water stayed "cold" the entire time, but it was cool enough to be refreshing. We were advised not to use ice because local water has a high chlorine percentage, but I think that ice would have helped the water stay cold. Worked well. No spills, good seal. I dropped it a few times, and there were no dents. Good rugged bottle.

I purchased this for my spouse and he really loves it so far. There's been no leaking and the capacity is good for his work day. It's easy to clean too. I also grabbed a silicone bottle boot for it and replaced the plastic straw it came with, with a glass straw. You can purchase both of those from Amazon. If you're looking to replace your plastic straw, you'll need an 8" inch glass straw with an 8mm diameter on the outside. For now I highly recommend it, but if that opinion changes I'll be back to update. Happy sipping!

I purchased one very similar years ago and the quality has been amazing. I use it every day. Keeps things very cold and I have had zero issues with it. I just wanted a new style/color. Very highly recommend.
