I came across this extra strong white flour while researching the best flour for sourdough, after it was recommended by a small business. Iโm a hobby baker and work almost exclusively with sourdough, and within just three weeks Iโve gone through six and a half bags โ nearly 10kg โ which really says it all.This flour is absolutely fantastic. It performs beautifully for creating and maintaining a sourdough starter, and itโs equally excellent for bread, pizza dough, and general baking. Buy this if you want to make the best sourdough
Iโve used other flours but havenโt been able to beat the protein content in this flour and it really shows in the quality of the dough and strength of my starter. Iโve had easy to work with dough and even when my bread doesnโt achieve the best rise when Iโm playing with hydration, the bread itself and the crumb is always exceptional.

Best flour for sourdough!
Switching to this flour for my sourdough bread baking has been a game changer. Great quality flour with a good flavour. Most importantly the consistency of my loaves is much better. You really notice the gluten strength during stretch and folds and the oven spring is fab. In the pricey side, I will probably switch to buying a sack in future.Also great for yeasted bread, although I reserve it now for my sourdough. Highly recommend .

Great for Sourdough
This is the best flour for Sourdough without question. Iโve tried loads of different ones but always come back to this. Good price. Sometimes a bit short dated (although not out of date) so 1 star deducted. Otherwise good value product which consistently performs.

Quality flour makes superior bread
This is very high quality flour for the home bread Baker. The dough is robust and makes superb loaves and bread cakes. You come to realise how inferior supermarket bread is.
