KitchenCraft World of Flavours Parmesan Cheese Grater with Handle, Bamboo Wood/Stainless Steel, 27.5 x 6 x 5 cm

This very, very beautiful Parmesan Grater is a treasure to behold. It's much bigger than it looks on the picture. The overall length with handle is 28 cm. The mould itself on the inside is 14 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm, so about 220ml which holds at least 100g Parmesan. The grater is very sharp and produces soft fluffy Parmesan. There is only one drawback: Since the grater is flush with the holder and not recessed a small amount of Parmesan powder that sits on top of the grater instead of falling through is thrown all over the place!!! So, don't use it at the table, grind it in the kitchen and then present the cheese to your guests at the table in this extremly beautiful bamboo container. I hope Kitchen Craft will alter this product in the future, all it takes is to recess the grater by 5mm. Despite this flaw I can not bring myself to deduce a star, since this item is so beautiful and costs only half of similar wooden items (with drawers)I've seen. This is definately the most attractive way to serve perfectly fluffy Parmesan to your guests!

Beautifully made and fantastic quality, looks great in the kitchen and works fantastically !! Bought this for my sister who is a kitchen designer and it fitted in perfectly to her modern sheek kitchen, love this item and it is totally functional, have bought a few parmesan graters that tend to blunt rather quickly or indeed not be sharp enought to start with, will def be ordering one for myself !1

Previously we had one of those carousel type things but it was useless. Kept clogging up and wasteful. This is much better. The only downside it that whilst the carousel was quite quick, this is a bit laborious and takes time to grate large amounts but overall its quite good. UPDATE: After having this for a few weeks, I've changed my mind about this. It is a nice product but grating parmesan cheese has become more like a gym workout. The metal grater sits loose on the bamboo frame and moves about when you grate cheese. Also, because you need to hold the handle whilst grating, I find myself having to press it into the worktop to stop it moving around, whilst holding the cheese in the other hand. Its now hard work grating cheese. For a recipe the other day that needed 100g of parmesan, I used the Kenwood mini chopper we have and that did it in 5 seconds, so this thing may end up on eBay now.

The grater is excellent. It looks fabulous on the table and is VERY easy to clean. The grater comes off and can be washed easily. The only downside is I now have to buy one for my 2 sisters in law, my mother in law and my own sister and they all think it looks fab.

I loved the design and the bamboo wood used to make this box however unfortunately as others have mentioned the holes are just too small in the grater for cheese. Maybe if the company could slightly increase the grating holes it would be a great useful product. Amazon have kindly agreed my return of this item.

The wooden handle was split in half with a chunk of wood missing. The grater is tiny. Do not recommend

If you eat pasta and like fresh parmasan you need this. Wish I had purchased years ago! Nothing wrong with quality at all.

Wonderful little gadget that looks nice on the shelf. It is nicely made and looks nice on the shelf when not in use. The grater detaches from the handle making it easy to clean

The grater clogs much too easily and constantly requires cleaning even when using hard cheeses. I wouldn't recommend it.
