I needed a auto feeder for our outdoor cat as we are traveling for a few days. We have had some in the past that the raccoons have gotten a hold of and destroyed so I wanted one with a flat top to weigh it down and prevent that. This one fit the bill and was priced right so i grabbed it. The instructions were clear and the setup was easy. I was able to program several feedings a day into it to ensure the cat gets food during the day as the raccoons will also take advantage of it at night. The hopper holds quite a bit of food, more than we need to add for the 2 days we are gone and the feeder is working as intended. I was able to weight it down on top with several bricks and there is no way a raccoon can drag it off now. I won't need it all the time but its nice to have the peace of mind when we are out of town and to know the cat is getting fed (As well as several stray cats in our area). So far its durable, easy to clean as the feeding tray pops off and the quantity of a meal is programmable so I can ensure the cat is fed without over feeding her or every animal within a mile. I have it undercover on a back porch so the weather won't affect it so I can't speak of outdoor durablilty yet but it seems to be solidly built. Im happy with the purchase and prefer this one over the way more expensive one I had in the past

I really like this automatic feeder! It was easy to set up and makes feeding my cat so much more convenient, especially when I’m busy or not home. I like being able to have food dispensed on a schedule without worrying about missing a feeding. It holds a good amount of food and has worked well for me so far. Definitely a great purchase for cat owners!

Everything was perfect for about 6 months. After a little while, the scheduled food begins to drop more frequently (up to 15 minutes early), and a couple times it didn't drop food at all, but again, it only happened maybe twice, so i think it may have just had a stray food pebble stuck in the rotating mechanism. The unpredictability has unfortunately thrown off my picky cat. She is very easy to spook when her routine gets thrown off, and now she only eats from it maybe half the time. As far as the feeder itself, i haven't had issues with the motorized part breaking like some people have. It also hasn't died since I bought it 10 months ago. The container holds almost an entire small cat food bag, is easy to wipe clean, and easy to set up.

I love this cat feeder. I can hear it when the food is dispensing but that just lets me know it is working. It was easy to program. We have had it 6 months and we and the cat both love it. It holds a large amount of food and allows us to leave the cat for a week long trip and not worry about the high school kid who checks on her over feeding her. It has held up nicely.

Love this! It has 20 different quantity settings and up to six feeding times. It's perfect for my overweight cat in which I have to keep an eye on his intake. Whenever it's releases a portion of food he comes running LOL. It is very adorable. It took me a little while to figure out how to program it. Highly recommend!

THIS THING IS A LIFE SAVER. Because of this we are able to go on vacation what ever we need because we know our cat will be fed. You can put it on to feed your cat MULTIPLE times a day. Just put in the times and how much you want to dispense and it does it. The only thing you have to worry about it making sure you fill the thing every 3 weeks ect. It holds A LOT of food too.

After using this feeder for many months with my overweight cat, he's lost a bit of weight! He isn't able to break into it and it is always on schedule. It looks really nice and has been super durable. It was super easy to set up. Size-wise, it's a bit large, but that was to be expected. The bowl is shaped in a way that is easy to clean, but also easy for the cat to pull food out of if you've got a cat like I do that likes pulling his food out of his bowl. :')

This is a much better feeder (I took the other one back) because the instructions are crystal clear, it is not difficult to program and it performs exactly as advertised. My cat is using it, but ultimately I think the portion size may need adjustment. The chart sets out number of feedings and portion size, so you could choose 5 feedings at 2oz or 4 feedings at 3 oz etc. and food is dispensed at whatever times you choose.

This product has been working consistently for a few months. I am using it plugged in (with battery backup). It also worked consistently with the battery (no issues with short-changing the cats on food). I think it uses a proper mechanical dispensing system, not one that relies on a rubber band, so dispensing seems to be quick and consistent. In the digital age, it would be lovely if there was a low level warning. The only think I don't really like is the very loud beep with every push of the buttons to adjust clock, time, meal sizes, etc. Otherwise it is easy to use. The instructions that came with it were helpful. The best benefits: the cats don't wake me up early anymore (unless I let it run out of food). I am using one feeder for three cats. It holds food for more than one week but I now make a habit of filling it weekly. When I am on holidays, this gives my cat sitter more flexibility on when she comes to check on the cats. Side note on battery only: years ago I used an automatic cat feeder that ONLY had a battery option and found it ran perfectly for months at a time before needing to change batteries, so I expect the same for this one.

Do not spend money on this piece of garbage. Their customer service is non-existent. I can’t believe Amazon is actually allowing for this product to be sold. I bought this product because I wanted a basic feeder for my cat to replace the feeder I had for years that got worn out. I had no trouble programming this machine. But from the first time this feeder dispensed food, it dispensed 4 times the amount of food it was supposed to (I had it programmed for 1 serving), then it beeped loudly and an error message showed up. This is what happened every single time the feeder went off. I tried to contact the company by email twice to get some help to troubleshoot my issue I was having, but they did not respond. They make it clear that there are no returns, which is fine but very unfortunate when the machine had a problem right out of the box.

Works well. I wish it would sound an alarm when the food was low.
