ConSandtrate Concrete Crack Filler - Gray - 3 lb. (Single Bottle) for Filling in Concrete Cracks on driveways, walkways and patios.

I purchased the brown version of this product to fill in some cement cracks in my backyard that ranged from hairline-type cracks to 1/4 inch. I had previously tried cement but found it difficult to fill in the cracks without it looking messy. This product works nicely for that purpose and this was easy to use. For slightly larger cracks, the nozzle of the plastic squeeze bottle can be placed into/close to the crack to allow the powder/sand to fill the crack. For smaller cracks, also using a small brush to sweep the powder across to fill the crack worked best for me. The product hardens when you spray water on the powder. I used a spray bottle on a mist-type setting to get the powder wet but not soaking wet.Overall, I was happy with the performance of the product, especially how the cracks were filled in and how the powder hardened. The acid test will come with time once we experience freezing temperatures and get into another summer.I was disappointed with the brown version of this product because it was more yellowish/beige than brown. On the Amazon Canada web site, the only 2 colours offered were brown and tan. The Amazon US web site also offered up grey and white and the brown displayed on that web site is nowhere close to the actual colour of the product once hardened. Hopefully, nature will take its course and outside dirt, etc. will darken the colour over time. The other drawback was the cost, which I thought was a tad high for basically 3 lbs of a sand-type mixture. One might be better off buying a bag of polymeric sand and, to get the same effect as this product, putting the sand into a squeeze bottle. Think I might try that next time, especially if this can better match the colour of my concrete.

I regret not having left a review before. I rarely leave reviews, but this product does exactly what is claimed! Over the years I have tried everything I can find, both on-line and in the hardware stores but nothing has worked like this. I also regret I am not computer savvy enough to leave a photo, but if I could you would see that it is so much better than the photos here. My driveway is on the white side of color, so I ordered the gray and it turned out to be just a shade darker than the cracks. The (several) cracks measured about 20 feet total with the longest at 8 feet; about 3/16" wide at the widest but mostly 1/8". Directions are good, but practice somewhere out of sight. I learned to use an old credit card to scrape the powder across the crack before using a small brush to rid the residue. I did this about a foot length at a time. I set my garden hose on mist and very briefly sprayed the crack. It was dry in several hours. You can't see anything from a distance, but up close you can see the slight color difference. Level. Flat. No residue smear (as seen in the other photos). Been in place about two months now and no sign of disintegration or discolor. Highly recommend!

The "brown" color matches best for blending with aggregate driveways.

Used to fill cracks in concrete driveway, some of which were rather deep. wide and long. Drive was poured on an incline which I believe had not been properly compacted. Driveway is 33 years old. Tried a few other products and was not satisfied. A friend told me about conSANDtrate and brought over a couple of containers for me to try - one gray and one tan. After seeing how very easy it was to just pour the sand-like mixture into cracks and spraying water on, it hardens and looks great

This concrete crack filler is amazing. It's been almost a year and the cracks I filled last year are still like the day I filled.
