Contigo SnapSeal Byron Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug, 16 oz, Gunmetal

I filled this cup with hot water as a test. One first notices that compared to other travel mugs - this retains the heat inside the cup and the outside does not feel hot at all which is a good sign. 5 hours later I went back and the water was still hot not steaming and piping hot as when it went in but definitely as hot as I would like my coffee to be and after 5 hours it will more than do the job as I just need my coffee to stay hot from 7.55am until around 10.30-11.00am. Also I can confirm that when you tip it upside down it does not leak. The instructions are a useful read, they recommend to let the liquid stand in the mug for about 2-3 minutes before screwing the lid on and they also recommend having the sip hole open while doing this. I must say I am very impressed. If I feel there is more to be said after a few weeks of using this, I will update this review. But I'm impressed!

Love Contigos - I carry mine everywhere, have done for nearly 6 years now! Bought this one for my sister-in-law who recently had a baby. Allows you to safely sip a hot drink whilst breastfeeding. And brilliant when baby starts to crawl as it's safe to have a cup of tea around them. Oh, she also uses it on the school run with her older kids! Finally, mums get to finish a cup of tea whilst still hot, even if that takes 2 hours! Saving money and helping the planet. No single-use cups needed. Hurrah!

Always been a fan of Contigo travel mugs and thought I'd try the snap seal as its a bit cheaper than the auto-seal. It works very well and keeps drinks at a good temperature, but on a couple of occasions the o-ring that seals in the liquid has come slightly loose when cleaning and if you don't spot this and reseat it, the mug will leak.

The best travel mug I've ever bought, so good in fact this is a second mug, bought my hubby one and he's impressed with how long it keeps warm and he travels with ti every day, no mishaps, leaking, comfortable to hold and to drink from a good seal.

Sturdy, jeeps drinks cold or hot for a long time, so that is good functionality, however, the opening in the kid where you drink from is very poorly designed. The area around the opening is far to wide and unless you almost fit the whole lid in your mouth, it constantly spills. Very annoying. Really bad design.

I already had one of these mug for over 4 years and it was in constant use. After 4 years the seal is not so good. As I was so pleased with my first mug decided a replacement was needed. Not found another mug as good.

Après la perte de mon mug de voyage Bodum (qui n'était pas parfaitement étanche), j'en ai recherché un autre et suis tombée sur ce modèle. Je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat car ce mug est parfait : de bonne contenance, ne fuit pas du tout, s'ouvre et se ferme facilement, conserve bien le chaud et le froid. Attention toutefois à l'ouverture quand il y a un liquide chaud à l'intérieur, les micro-goutelettes de vapeur s'échappent brusquement et ont tendance un peu à "brumiser"... mais c'est normal car c'est l'étanchéité parfaite qui crée ce phénomène. Bref, je suis très satisfaite de cet achat, d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix. J'avais commandé également le modèle au dessus chez un autre marchand, mais je ne l'ai jamais reçu !

Comprei o copo pois estava barato, e me surpreendi com a qualidade, mantem gelado por bastante tempo, quente muito pouco usei... Poderia ser mais resistente a pintura, ou até mesmo ter um revestimento de borracha em baixo, pois o pouco que usei já tem marcas de uso na pintura...

O produto me surpreendeu. Ótima qualidade e acabamento. Retém a temperatura do produto como o prometido no manual, fiz vários teste e superou o esperado.
