Functionality was better than expected
I was skeptical about these working but I know the concept is good so I bought these and added them to my skimmers ( I have a large in ground pool). At first they did not make the “tornado” but after dropping my water level to within 3” of the skimmer basket these took off and worked amazingly. I definitely recommend these!!

No instructions
Doesn’t do too much. Create a tiny little vortex that pulled down only very tiny things. What the heck are the silicone shims for!? Came with absolutely no directions. Can only assume I have it right side up.

Sinks to bottom of pool when off
Shouldn’t float when not running. Need to have a little weight to them so they stay in place

A ripoff, avoid this seller
Absolutely useless, unless you need a freebie. Did not seat on basket and moved constantly. Did not create even the smallest amount of circulation. Total waste of money, don't waste your time..

Poor design
Don’t use the rubber wedge to keep the top from floating off. The top floated off anyway and now use a small rock to keep it in place. I couldn’t find the wedge and today it was the culprit on why my pool pump would prime. It was wedge in front of my impeller! I found it while taking it apart to replace the pool pump. It burned up my capacitor so I replaced it and pool pump finally working again!

How about some instructions? I got two plastic plates and two rubber wedges, but no instructions.

wasn't sure if this would work as we had a skimmer basket with a large inverted part over it that always got stuck and if the water level in the pool was low it wouldn't work properly...this is way better and works just like advertised...just make sure you get the right size for you skimmer
