Its been a few months since our purchase of two different styles of Hikers suspenders. My husband did not favor the style that runs down the center of the belly and hooks to the button on the front howerever he LOVEs the more traditional style over the arms that hook to belt loop in the back. Oh my goodness no more heavy belts and best no more butt showing. Hubby has a flat backside and keeping his pants from slipping down in the back was always a challenge. He was forever tugging and pulling them up. Now, The suspenders do their job and his pants stay up! He is thrilled not wearing belts and Im thrilled that his pants stay up. No alligator clips. The plastic hooks are secure in to the loops. Takes practice taking the hooks off but practice makes perfect. You won't be disappointed. They are adjustable as well with holes in the back strap to allow a solid fit. Try them!

Theyre great for wearing under a shirt--surprisingly comfortable on your skin. And they can be worn outside a shirt too. They work great--the hooks through a belt loop are way stronger and more reliable than clasp style suspenders. Would be nice if you could adjust via the front straps on the fly insead of taking everything off and only adjusting the rear. The only TINY complaints I have are that the hooks stay attached to the belt loops so well (by design) that they can be tough to get off when you want them off sometimes. And the center of your back where the straps all came together can be a bit itchy.

Seem to be well made, only time will tell. Comfortable. Fit well. Best thing about them, they hold up my pants, no plummers butt.

At 45 years old with 4 grandkids, I figured it was OK to start doing old guy stuff like wear suspenders. I got the grip clip kind first. They were constantly digging into my side, especially when I was crawling around at work. Then I decided I should do button end. Those were a lot better but sewing buttons on all my pants sucked. The slide adjusters were always digging into my chest because of backpack straps. I spend enough time outdoors to wear out a pack every year or two so those were out. I tried full out 2 inch loggers with slide adjusters from Mars and Welch, but they were a bit much. Then I found these. They don't need buttons, they don't have any metal buckles or adusters to dig in, they don't use vinyl ends to feel gross when sweaty, they're just the right tension to hold my pants up, and they work on every pair of pants and shorts own. One underrated feature, the part that goes from the Y down to your rear belt loop doesn't stretch so they work MUCH better than traditional y back suspenders. I also get the best of both worlds because I can wear them under a tee shirt against my skin. I get to do old guy stuff like I don't care AND not look like an old guy wearing suspenders!!!

These are very comfortable suspenders. I loved them when I first got them. They were great under a T shirt. They were easier on my back than wearing a belt while carrying around a pocket knife, multi tool, wallet and phone, etc. I loved them and wore them daily for months. The big bummer is to be so soft and flexible the elastic is very thin. It wears out quickly. I had to add holes to make them tighter and tighter until they were so tight they lost much of the elasticity and comfort. Finally after 4 months I threw them out. Now I'm back to my belt.

These suspenders have made my life SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE now that I own and wear them. Wearing a belt is uncomfortable for me as I'm a big, overweight guy. I was experimenting with these suspenders to wear under my shirt as I typically wear t-shirts and button-down shirts untucked. I wear my Hikers between my undershirt and top shirt or on bare skin and they are very comfortable either way. Going to the restroom can be a slight challenge if you want it to be, but you'll figure out your favorite strategy. You can unhook them or just take off your overshirt and unsling yourself. The plastic hooks are pretty durable under normal wear, but I broke my rear hook the other day bending over with a 30-lb backpack on to pick up some paper. I should've thought about it before I did it, as I now don't think bending over with a backpack on is a good idea anyway. So this one's on me and indiscretion. I'm replacing these OD green ones with white ones since I think they'll be less conspicuous between a white undershirt and an overshirt or without an undershirt since I'm a bit caucasian. I wish there were a khaki version, though. Really great, comfortable product. Highly recommended.

I sit at work for 10 hours a day and wearing a belt has become increasingly uncomfortable. I also tend to keep my belts for 10+years. Over time the oils in your skin can break the buckles down so they're no longer smooth. I also have a major issue with the back of my pants slipping down. I wanted to try a new option like these and it's been way better. They're fairly comfortable to wear. Since they don't have the traditional grandpa alligator clips I don't have problems with them popping off. The plastic belt clips are fairly easy to use but I could see them being challenging if you have mobility problems. They aren't super thick and you don't have to have them tight at all to get the same or better security. No more plumber butt when I bend over.

Top quality in material, design and construction which I paid for. I didn't pay for the white on black advertising stuck on my back. Come on guys, show some class.

Grundsätzlich sehr gut aber nach ein paar Tagen ist der hintere Haken weggebrochen. Ich werde diesen ersetzen weil mir die Träger in Vergleich zu anderen besser gefallen haben aber es spricht nicht für die Qualität des eingesetzten Kunststoffs.

Very disappointed with this product, required measurements are not the same. We took our time measuring our dad and once received they just would not stay up. I unfortunately disposed of the packaging so we can’t return. The build and materials are great but it’s just not for us.
