Angelus Leather Filler for Filling or Repairing Holes, Tears, Cracks, Scratches, for Leather Car Seats, Furniture, Shoes- Flexible - 2oz

So my first attempt at this didn’t go so well, but I did manage to get some pretty spectacular results in the end. Read on if you want to learn from my mistakes! 1. Prepare the area! By this I mean sand with some 300-600 grit wet and dry paper (I can’t tell you how important this is otherwise the product won’t adhere to the leather/vinyl. 2. Clean with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry thoroughly. 3. Mix the product with acrylic paint to get a close colour match. This is the hardest part the leather I was repairing was grey but it also had a hint of yellow and green. I had bought the very expensive Angelus leather paint in black and white, thinking I would be able to match the grey. I was wrong. I ended up using my daughter’s art acrylic paints to get a fairly decent match. It was almost impossible to get an exact match (but this will depend on your skills). 4. Sand. Wait for the product to thoroughly dry. This is 24hrs minimum. Don’t be tempted to rush this stage as the product will roll off like glue. What you want is to blend it in to the surrounding area. You may need to apply several more coats of paint and filler to get good results. TIP: mix your filler/paint in a small sealable pot so you can use it again without having to try and colour math again. 5. Paint - depending on the colour/tone the paint may dry lighter or darker. This is super annoying as a perfect wet colour match may dry differently. Try to re-mix the colour to compensate for this and paint over the area. 6. Blend. Depending on how good your colour match is you may need to blend it in to the surrounding area. For this you can use your finger and rub the paint on like shoe polish. I ended up covering the whole boot to get a good blend. Depending on the size/value of the item this may not be an option! I hope this review helps someone, I’ll let you judge for yourself from the before and after photos but I am pretty pleased with the results. Thanks for reading!

It's an excellent filler but it's very fussy with how you prepare the surface.

I rarely leave comments for products but this one deserves it. So often products we buy can disappoint or don't do what they say they do but this one does. It's absolutely Brilliant, Fantastic and Amazing!!! I respired my white leather sofa with this and it looks great. It dries to a flexible and really hardwearing finish. The last pot I bought some of it went dry in the lid. I peeled it off and it was really tough with a suede like feel. I also used the Acrylic Leather paint and you cant see any of the scratches and small tares now. Honestly it's great. Thank you

I bought this to repair mouse damage to an expensive horse girth. What a fantastic result. It’s flexible and strong. Brilliant product. I’ve ordered the same company’s black paint to finish the job 😀

Lo stucco per pelle Angelus ha davvero superato ogni mia aspettativa! Ho una vecchia borsa in pelle che adoro, ma che con il tempo aveva sviluppato segni di usura e crepe piuttosto profonde. Dopo aver provato altri prodotti senza successo, ho deciso di dare una chance a questo stucco ed è stata la scelta migliore. Il prodotto è davvero facile da applicare. Seguendo le istruzioni e qualche tutorial video, sono riuscita a ottenere un risultato impeccabile. Lo stucco, di colore bianco, si stende in modo uniforme – io ho utilizzato una spatolina e della carta vetrata finissima per una finitura perfetta. In particolare, ho riparato una parte mancante del piping della borsa, e ora sembra come nuovo! La qualità del prodotto è evidente, come tutti gli articoli Angelus, e il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo. L'unico aspetto migliorabile è il packaging: il vasetto era libero all'interno della scatola/busta Amazon, ma fortunatamente è arrivato in perfette condizioni. In sintesi, sono estremamente soddisfatta del mio acquisto. Se avete oggetti in pelle danneggiati o usurati, questo stucco è una soluzione eccellente. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!
