LAFVIN Basic Starter Kit for ESP32 ESP-32S WiFi I OT Development Board with Tutorial Compatible with Arduino IDE

LOOK AT THE TUTORIAL/PROJECTS PDF FIRST. The hardest part about this kit was getting the ESP32 to talk to my computer and the Arduino IDE software, but all that was explained in the pdf. That said, this is a great little starter kit. Gives a good variety of modules and components to play with. Basically everything you need to start tinkering. The projects/tutorials are explained well with lots of diagrams and pictures and code examples. I will say the projects are not very "showy", so maybe not the best choice if you're looking to do something alongside kids.

The included components are more than enough for a wide variety of basic projects. Contrary to some complaints about the breadboard size, I don’t believe there’s actually an issue. The ESP32 is typically placed so that only one row of header pins sits in the breadboard, while the other row hangs off the side and can be accessed with female jumper wires. The instructions and starter code are excellent and very beginner-friendly. Overall, I’m very happy with this kit and excited to try out different project ideas with it.

This is an excellent starter kit for learning ESP32 and basic IoT projects. The kit includes a wide variety of components, and everything worked as expected out of the box. The tutorials are helpful for getting started, especially if you’re new to ESP32 or Arduino-style development. Great value for hands-on learning.

Picked up this set to test ESPhome stuff to put around the house. Good kit to start with since it has a DHT11 sensor for temperature and humidity, and the OLED to display info as you are learning arduino / esp home. I don't have a use for the other sensors that came in the kit for now but still good to have on hand if I ever do find something. The only down side was the bread board that came with the kit did not work at all. Could never get the DHT11 or the OLED screen to work properly. After connecting everything directly with the provided cables it worked without an issue. For the price the bread board not working is a small issue and easily replaced.

Pretty good kit. Comes with the ESP32 devkit v1 with cable and a litany of sensors, high quality push buttons and ssd1306 .96 inch OLED screen. Also has an assortment of Dupont bundled jumper wires, a dht11 temp and humidity sensor plus some components like capacitors, resistors and RGB leds. Comes with a decent size translucent breadboard too

This kit was a ton of fun to play around with, the instructions online were easy to follow, the only thing I wish they did was label their resistors, maybe its just me but i had a hard time reading them. Compared to how a single esp is ~$5-10 this kit is a great deal!

Very cheap build quality. There was a bunch of broken pins and the wires are very poorly made. The assembly shoud have been better. With the poor fitting connections and broken pins it makes for the device to work very poorly. This makes it hard to use. I feel they should have spent a few more dollars and made this better.

The box is amazing it includes everything one might need, however, my only issue is the wire that was given to connect the microprocessor to the laptop did not work, after troubleshooting, it turns out the wire given is a charging wire, not for data transfer, which is required. Bought a new one and everything is working perfectly.

tout fonctionne bien et le manuel d'utilisation "est un bijou", très clair avec de belles explications pour un vrai débutant. Toutefois le breadboard est de qualité moindre: difficile a y entrer les fils, peu importe la position. je vais "utiliser mes vieux" breadboards.

Great learning for first time in programming IoT. Illustration in the tutorial was clear and simple. Easy demonstrations for understanding of how to apply and work.
