I purchased this bag and another brand for traveling, and initially, I was going to return this one (started the return) and keep the other. Mainly due to the other arriving first and I had already started to use it - liked it well enough. I had not even given this one a chance! Less than a week passed and the other's zipper broke! Glad I had not returned this, I started to use it. I was so sick and tired of all my makeup for daily wear being lost in those bags with compartments. You know, the ones we all say "I will put this back in that pocket and know where it is" but do not follow thru with! I spent most my morning's digging for that one eye pencil that always seemed to be trying to make a break for it out of the bag. GAME CHANGER! This bag has perfect sized compartments. The pockets are super nice, heavy-duty plastic with 2 zippers. This will allow you to use the product either hanging or lying flat. The Velcro really sticks - you can put many items in the compartments and still hang it without worry that they will detach, breaking your items. The color choices and exterior material is also very nice. I selected blue. The whole bag rolls up with no hassle in 5 seconds, with a Velcro closure at the top. It has an inside sturdy metal hook for hanging and handles for carrying. My routine is completely changed. This bag keeps my makeup for face, eyes, cheeks, lips all organized. No trouble finding what I need every morning. I use this everyday and keep it hung on the back of my bathroom door! Buy one, put the items you use every day in it (put all those other items in the old bags for a rainy day back up). You will be glad you did.

I have three of these now, and use them all for traveling. I had seen these for years and never tried them out but realize now just how genius this product is for traveling. I have things arranged in the order of how I use use them. Not only do I use these for cosmetics, but for all the other small doodad’s needed for traveling. It makes it really easy to pack and unpack your suitcase when everything’s already in its place inside these little compartments. One other nice thing is that there are TWO zippers on each inside container, so you can use it whether it is hanging on a hook or lying flat on the counter. One tip is to remove the compartments and flip them upside down, because they come with the zippers opening toward the bottom instead of the top. But they are Velcro-attached, so it’s easy to fix that. The best part of using these is that there’s no need to unpack them I just use the items and replace them in their respective compartments.

I recently had to buy a new suitcase. My old suitcase was the soft-sided kind that had all the storage on one side with a top that was just a covering with a small pocket. The storage side was super deep and I could fit almost anything in there. My new suitcase is a hard-sided clamshell. The storage on each side is very shallow. I bought this bag in hopes it would help me fit everything into my new suitcase that I used to be able to fit into my old suitcase. All of my old make-up and toiletry bags were too tall to fit in these shallow compartments. When I first unboxed it, I thought it was going to be too big. But I was so wrong! It fits perfectly!! I was able to fit a full-size shampoo, conditioner, wet brush, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair shine, hair serum, deodorant, razor, and scissors. In addition, I could fit a travel-size aquaphor and q-tips. I still had plenty of room for more, too! It folded up beautifully and took up about a third (maybe less) of one side of my suitcase. I was able to zip it up in there with no problems. It was nice at the hotel, too. I usually have to unpack my entire toiletry bag onto the hotel counter (since everything was just thrown into one big back and I couldn’t find anything otherwise), taking up all the space so my family has no room for their stuff. This time I was able to hang this bag from a hook in the bathroom and only get out what I needed when I needed it. Since everything was in it’s own compartments it was super convenient and saved so much counter space. I’m very happy with this purchase!

I really like this travel bag. It does hold a lot. The only thing I wish is that the Velcro strips were longer. If you fill up the pouches all the way, you can barely close it. Despite that minor flaw, it's durable, a pretty color, and the quality seems good. I have used it on four trips already and it's held up great.

Well thought-out design! This is an improvement from the previous versions: this newer version has 2 zippers on the clear velcroed pouches — one in the middle and one at the top. The previous version only had a zipper in the middle, which meant things fell out if you opened the pouches while the bag was hanging. Now, it’s easy to use whether hanging the bag, laying out on a counter, or if you remove a pouch to use solo. That’s the other convenience — being able to remove the pouches. E.g.. we pack toothbrushes in one pouch and can remove it and travel with it in our carry-on bag for flights. As another reviewer noted, if the hook is too small to fit around a rod for hanging, you can usually loop the hook strap around the rod and hook it to itself to hang the bag. Good waterproofness. Perfect size. I love that this bag hangs — keeps it off wet hotel counters. We have 2 of the older versions, which we’ve had for a few years. Those have held up perfectly.

I got my hanging toiletry bag today. I did not buy it for toiletries. I bought for our electronic power cords. When I go on vacation with my husband and son we like the bring our cameras, cellphones and iPads. Then when we get to the room everyone is looking to charge and this will be great to store the items in. In fact the cameras and cell phones fit in the pockets too. The 4 different see through removable bags will be great, cool. I picked this bag because all of the great customer reviews. They are on the money. The see through plastic is of good quality, the Velcro fasteners, each pouch has a zipper and a loop at the end you could put a key loop, and the out side in durable. I got it in gray, which was great because I wanted it for electrics. The price was great for the quality. You could use this bag for so many uses.

This toiletry bag needed to go through user testing because it has a couple annoying flaws. First, the sections are detachable from the base but the sections have the hook side of velcro, not the soft side. If you're going to hold a bag on your lap or another surface, it shouldn't be scratchy on the bottom. Second, the little fabric bits to hold onto when you zip the sections are on the wrong side. Think about a good purse: when you zip it closed, you often have a tab to hold onto with one hand as you zip with the other. These sections have the tabs on the wrong side for zipping. Maybe they serve another purpose, but it's not clear. Otherwise, it's a good product.

I have bought A LOT of stuff on Amazon and I have to say this is probably my favorite purchase. I really wanted a toiletry bag that hangs because hotels rarely have enough counter space, but I also wanted detachable compartments. This way I can grab all my makeup easily in one go and take it with me or grab the pool/beach stuff like sunscreen and bandaids without rummaging through or removing bits and pieces. This achieved it all. I was worried all my stuff wouldn’t fit because I have a lot to include like face creams galore, hairsprays, perfumes, etc. but the compartments had a lot of space and it still rolled up! It certainly rolls up smaller if you put less in, but it still fit perfectly in my suitcase. It seems durable and well built but only time will tell. The hanger stitching seems to be strong and the Velcro is mighty. So much so, it’s a bit loud when you rip off the sections, but it doesn’t bother me. Works exactly how I wanted and makes traveling so much easier and more organized. I really love this product and would definitely recommend it.

This item has been a game changer while travelling. Having everything in one place, easily accessible, you can detach each compartment, hang it, it has 2 angled zippers so when it's hung up your items don't fall. Brilliant item. Love it

I have to admit that I'm an overpacker when it comes to toiletries and I have tried all kinds of travel bags. This one is so far the best in practicality and quality. Two of the four pouches have a wider bottom and the other two more narrow, great for items of various sizes. The detachable feature is just icing on the cake. The size is not too big either after all rolled up. It's truly worth every penny if you pack lots and like to be organized.

I used to have a toiletry bag that was one large space but it became so difficult to find anything, and when things leaked they covered everything. I love this toiletry bag precisely because of all the zippered compartments. I can see what's inside and keep certain things separated yet accessible. It all folds up and fits nicely in my suitcase. If I'm taking a short weekend trip I don't even have to bring the whole thing, each zippered compartment can be removed.

Very convenience design. Great for hanging on bathroom hooks. I really like how you can detach the different compartments. Only concern is that the zippers are very cheap. One of the zippers sticks and I feel that it will break soon.

I just love this product that has four individual compartments that are removable and the product can hang on the door and it's clear so you can see everything that is available to you at your disposal this product met my expectations
