Sounds great in my short scale bass!
Installed it in a Mustang Bass and it really brought it to life. Sounds hot like an active pickup but is still nice and clear. Great value for the money.

Knicked metal, no instructions
I think guitar pickups are one of those things that should come with wiring diagrams... this one did not. Traditionally, black is hot, green / bare is ground, and white / red are for splitting. I'll update after testing my assumption. Additionally, the rails and gold cover have minor knicks in a few places - it's not significant, just a mild bummer.Ultimately, sound is what matters - so I'll update after getting this things wired up. For now, i'm reluctant to give more that 3 stars.
