Great flavour if you give it some extras.
I write this honest review to try and silence the wierd haters. Excellent value, budget packaging so the resealer strip needs a manual bag clip or 2 if you have one or just tip into airtight plastic container. Not found a scoop yet so don't know if there is one but everybody has a tablespoon right? FLAVOUR To be fair i don't like chocolate shakes but you know what...its not bad. Look its a high protein whey and soy supplement. It's not gonna taste like a delicious thick and creamy chocolate shake either home made or high street. But I give it 9 out of 10. Is it a bit powdery? Sure. But im telling you from experience there are so many worse out there. If you want shake shack flavour just try and blend it with a few bits and pieces. I added yoghurt, banana my nutrient seed mix and milk and it was pretty good. A.d remember I would never order a chocolate shake but it was the only flavour available so I took a gamble. The ingredients speak for themselves. Its a great whey and soy mix, high protein and don't be nervous at all about the flavour... Just give it a little help to thicken it up (bit of ice or freeze the banana). Update 29 Aug found the scoop in the powder buried deep lol

Knowing This Makes This Product Great
Some people are having problems because they’re not preparing it the way the product is intended. When making a shake: Fill your bottle just under half full with skimmed milk/water plus whole milk Add a scoop of the powder Put in some ice cubes Add your other ingredients - obviously none necessary but customising will make it taste better. I use smooth peanut butter. Shake vigorously If the mixture isn’t smooth yet, keep shaking. If it is, add more water/milk then give it a final brief shake This is how you avoid lumps and make the flavour great for you. Any bottle will do fine, but a proper shaker bottle is about £3 on here, and comes with a piece of metal which will help the shake to become smooth. The ice cubes also help in the regard. Adding some milk rather than just water helps the flavour, but high fat content milk won’t be able to absorb all of the powder. The first time I made this I tried just mixing in a glass with a spoon - it ended up exactly as some other reviewers have described it, lumpy and strange tasting. Shaking properly and adding some ingredients to your own taste makes this an incredibly cheap and tasty source of protein that I can’t recommend highly enough

Good product.
Got it as it was on special offer for a tenner. Very good value for money. Mix with about 150ml - 200ml of water for best taste/mouth feel. Good amount of protein and amino acids. Taste isn't amazing, but atleast it's not packed full of fake additives. Reccomended.

Not nice
Even at £10 per kg, I can’t recommend this protein powder. The taste really isn’t pleasant—chalky and artificial, though I accept that may be subjective. I compared it with my favourites (Science in Sport Rego, PhD, and a cheaper OMNIA Pure Whey Protein Powder), and this one fell short. Despite the low price, the flavour made it hard to finish, and I ended up giving it away. Another drawback is that it’s a soy blend, like some PhD options, which I prefer to avoid. OMNIA, for example, is pure whey concentrate and worth paying a little more for in my opinion. If you’re only after a budget protein source and don’t mind the taste, it might suit you—but personally, I wouldn’t buy it again.

Tastes like cake mix
This is obviously a protein blend, which I prefer to straight whey these days. The level of protein per scoop is excellent. For those watching their cholesterol, the saturated fat is the lowest I've found. The chocolate tastes like uncooked cake mix, which may be due to the added cocoa, and personally I quite like it. I have not tried the other flavours yet. One scoop mixed well, although when adding 2 scoops I did not use enough water and it clumped to the side of the shaker. My fault. Compared to my previous go-to (whey only) brand, the price is superb: about one third. I also feel full after drinking this, which is again something that I prefer as it stops me snacking after training. Overall, I am happy with the product. If you are realistic about what you get for a tenner, you should be satisfied.

Cheap, good protein content, but terrible texture and flavour
First thing - I bought this because it was ridiculously cheap, just over £9.50/kg. And also it has a good protein amount per 100g (80g). So that's the good things out of the way. The two worst aspects are the 'chalky' texture when it's in your mouth. I normally have protein powder via porridge or yogurt, and in both cases, this gives either thing the chalky texture I'm referring to. It's really not good! And secondly, this is meant to be 'Double Chocolate' in flavour - but it tastes absolutely nothing like chocolate whatsoever. I can't even describe what it tastes like really. However; I'm giving it 3/5 anyway just because of the initial things I mentioned. Although the texture and flavour are terrible, at the end of the day it is still giving you a high protein boost for a low cost. Having said that, I will probably have to think very, very hard before I consider buying this again in the future!

It's perfect for the price
I buy 3 Bags that's 3 Kilos of Protein Powder for £30 - it's the cheapest on the market... Due to my football - plyometric - strength - calisthenic training which is 4/5 days a week on top of the football games I play - I use 4 scoops a day with 10g of Creatine - I usually take 2 for brunch & 2 after training/games...I don't care about anabolic this or time window...I have to personally hit 160 grams of protein a day & this makes a huge difference... It tastes fine - I have no idea hey people whine about the taste - it's a supplement it's there to bolster your protein without having to consume masses amounts of food without the excess calories it's really that simple...if you don't like the taste of this then you wont like ANY protein powder...get over it or mix something in it like coffee powder or vanilla syrup or something but get over it if you're focused on your training this shouldn't be an issue, if it is give up now... I mix it only with water - people complaining about stomach bloating or the the diarrhea are probably mixing this with milk or worse some kind of nut/soya milk - drinking nearly a litre of milk, whatever it is made of will do that to you... This is a great product 10/10

you get what you paid for
I bought this for 10£ for the price it's ok you get what you paid for. However I will not be buying again as it's very difficult to blend as it heavily clumps up although maybe this can be resolved with a blender or frother. Also the taste is borderline vile and needs to be mixed with berries/bananas/honey to make it bearable.
