These socks are really comfortable and work well when I want a low-profile sock that doesn’t show much with my shoes. I like the fit and the added cushioning, which makes them especially nice for everyday wear. Love these socks! Finally a pair that stays above the shoe. Very comfortable and cushion your foot. They are the only socks I buy to wear with sneakers when I walk and/or go to the gym. They were recommended to me by my neighbor, and now I recommend them to all my friends. I have bought them many times in different colors. They might seem a little pricey, but they are worth it!

I am absolutely blown away by these socks. I have very specific (and difficult) criteria for running gear: I struggle with extremely wet feet during runs, I can’t stand the itch of wool, and I have a sensitivity to elastane/spandex that usually causes my skin to break out if the compression is too high. The Pros Skin-Safe Fabric: Most performance socks are loaded with elastic fibers, but these only have 2% elastane. For someone like me who gets skin irritation from high-elastane compression gear, these are a total lifesaver. No breakouts, just comfort. Superior Moisture Management: My feet usually feel soaked halfway through a run, but the "Drynamix" fabric in these keeps them remarkably dry without that "squishy" feeling. Cushion Without the Squeeze: The "Hidden Comfort" name is no joke. They feel plush and padded like a cloud, but they don't have that tight, suffocating grip that traditional compression socks have. Perfect Fit: The heel tab is the ideal height—it protects my Achilles from shoe friction but never slides down into the shoe, but when I run in my hokas I still use a bit of kinsi tape to keep my heel from rubbing, in my brooks I don't find it necessary. The Cons Price Point: They are sold as a single pair, so they are an investment. However, given that they solved my skin and moisture issues simultaneously, they are worth every cent. Sizing: Be sure to check the Balega chart; since they aren't high-compression, getting the "Small" right is key to preventing any movement. For example I wear a womens wide 8 shoe and the small size fits me perfectly. Final Verdict: If you are a runner who needs to avoid wool or high-elastane materials but still wants a high-performance, dry-wicking sock, these are the ones. I’m already planning to replace my entire sock drawer with these.

When I put these on feet my comfort level rocks to a 5/5, no even better, a 10/10. These have become my go to and I put yards and yards on them going to and from my couch and fridge all day long. Actually, I’ve probably done atleast a thousand miles with these socks and they’re my favorite by far, the added padding in the back is the best part

These super-comfortable socks last forever. I wear a size 10.5 women's shoe and I buy the size Large. The heel never slips and the socks feel as great 1 1/2 years later as they did when I first bought them. My oldest pair of Balegas is an 8-year old pair of blister resist socks, and they're still great too. The only signs of age are how much these socks pill (same with other versions of Balega socks I've purchased). All socks have a pilling problem but it's more visible on Balegas for some reason (regardless of the color of socks). I machine wash them in cold water and don't use a dryer, as instructed by Balega. I just purchased a fabric shaver (Beautural) and OMG, the socks look new again. See photo of my pair of (unwashed) socks - the sock on the right after fabric shaving and on the left without shaving.

I expected and hoped for these socks to be thinner. I like for my feet to have ground feel on my morning walks. I wear them after my workout and they are fine for that. They are more comfortable after washing and drying several times. If you like thick socks, these are very nice.

I never thought I’d be ok with spending $17 on one pair of socks. But, boy are these socks worth it. I spend 12 hours a day on my feet and these socks are comfortable for the entire shift. They cushion all the right places. And my feet don’t sweat and stink at the end of the day.

These are my favorite socks for long walks and jogs. They tan at the heel/ankle really helps prevent blisters. They are lightweight with mild compression and are breathable so I don’t have any issue with foot odor even when running through puddles or muddy trails. I own 12 pairs in black and grey and have put them through quite a few wash cycles without them shrinking. It’s been a few months and I have no holes or tears in them so they are holding up very well. I will buy more in the future.

I love these socks. Very comfortable and thick but not too thick that it affects wearing my joggers.
