Inadequate product, unsupportive seller. DO NOT PURCHASE from Certified Supply Solutions.
Like other reviewers, mine broke spontaneously within six months, having been fitted properly and untouched in that time. The fixture snapped and the whole thing fell down onto the hob. The expensive price I paid is completely unreasonable for something inadequate. Seller 'Certified Supply Solutions' immediately closed my replacement/refund request - the seller thinks that 30 days is a reasonable length of time for a £12 piece of plastic to last before they want you to buy a new one. Given that I received a response that "lamps and associated components are consumable items and their lifespan will vary with use" this is evidently something that happens to them a lot. Appalling, and unfit to be sold.

glad to find a replacement cover that looks and fits just like the original
This fits a treat and I'm glad to have found a replacement for the original lamp cover. Watch out for the tabs at each end that snap it into the aperture - they're quite brittle and delicate (that's how the first cover came to grief) so it needs a bit of finesse, hence the four stars. For this reason, when it comes time to replace the bulb, I plan to just open the drop-down cooker hood filter-cover to gain access because that's much easier than removing the lamp cover. No worries, it all works great and I'm happy with it.

Spontaneously break and fall out!
This is the 5th lamp cover we have had to buy to replace 4 lamp covers that have broken in the last 2 years. Although it is a good fit and easy to fit, one of the small retaining lugs that are at each end breaks off spontaneously after a while even when the cooker is not in use and the lamp cover falls onto the hob!

Very poor quality product.
This product is very flimsy and just falls out of the cooker hood even when not in use. One of the tiny plastic lugs fails and the whole thing falls. If I could find an alternative I would use it. A very poor product for a too high price. If it was £1 I would expect this, but not at nearly £10! Rubbish product.
