Amazing sound. Is super easy to use and so many different modes you can try out. It plays my CDs super well. it connects to the plug super well, but I still have yet to try out the Bluetooth connectivity. It is super small and fits in any space perfectly. The remote works. Honestly, I recommend so much and was so affordable.

My 15 year old Bose stopped working and needed sent for repairs. I have a history of chronic difficulty sleeping and have some delta wave CDs that help significantly and I play all night on repeat. I needed to find something to use while the Bose is being repaired but, because of my previous experiences, wasn't incredibly hopeful of finding a good solution. This little powerhouse has definitely surprised me! No, it isn't as good quality as my Bose, I didn't expect it to be, but for the price it is amazing! It has been doing the job all night every night for weeks! The light function has the option of various colors and to shut off completely which is perfect. You can connect this via Bluetooth to play sound from another device and you can play the radio too. It also has a number of timer functions. The CD repeat function works very well with the noise of restarting being so minimal it doesn't disturb my sleep at all. I find the sound quality to be quite good as well. I like this enough that when my Bose returns I am going to keep this to use in my office!

I bought this for my wife to play in her bathroom. When I gave it to her she liked it so much that she kept it in our kitchen. It is compact in size, doesn't take up much space and has good quality sound. It also has FM radio. Both of us are really happy with it and have given it a 5 star rating. It also comes with a remote.

First off, the fact that this is called “portable” is misleading. This needs to remain plugged in for it to work so it’s not rechargeable or battery operated. Yes, it’s small and can easily be moved from room to room but by that logic then my lamp can be called portable or my tv or gaming system. I was expecting to be able to use this outside so I can listen to my audiobooks while I am gardening.Second, this constantly skips when the CD is playing. I know it’s the player because I tried this in another player I have and had no issues. I made sure the disc was clean but that didn’t seem to matter.The volume seems ok but I only used it for my audiobook and considering the skipping issue I’ll be returning this item.

Received this as a gift and I only use it in my bedroom to play CDs. Sounds good and easy to use but it has a tendency to turn itself on, and up the volume, when no one is around. Maybe it's haunted : )

This is a really nice and compact CD/radio. You have to use the remote to access all of the features, but otherwise the sound quality is good for small spaces.

My 88 yr old husband is very deaf but loves his music. He likes to play CDs using his headset. But the jack on this unit doesn't hold the plug well so music shifts from his wired headset back to speakers on the CD. So he's having to wiggle the connection all the time. This is a wired connection, not a blue tooth issue. There is a one year warranty but I can't find how to use it! We are just a few days beyond the return date on Amazon. In summary - it works when it works but don't count on it. This is the SECOND CD player by this manufacturer that he purchased on less than a year because the other one stopped working. Why get the same one? He's 88yrs old is my best explanation on that question.
