AstroAI 150 PSI Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor L7 Mini

I purchased one of these about 8 months ago. I've used it for lawnmower tires, car tires, Jeep tires, etc. It pumps fast, isn't super loud, and is super easy to use and read. I've purchased other brands and models for friends, and still think this is the best. However, I had noticed a problem when I purchased it, but ignored the issue. I'd charge up the compressor until it was full, but it didn't seem to hold the charge long. A smallish tire would nearly completely drain the battery. I didn't really think about it, as I was super happy to have a cordless compressor that was car and truck-worthy. Recently, I needed to use it again, and, of course it was fully dead. I charged it up, used it, then recharged. After checking 2 weeks later, it was again fully dead. Something is definitely wrong. I thought that maybe I was stuck using this with its cord from now on. But, why not test the warranty? I sent a quick email to AstroAI, and I IMMEDIATELY had a positive response, and have one on its way to me today. The service was exceptional. Thank you so much! I'm a manufacturing engineer for a test equipment company, so I understand escapes of product that doesn't quite work correctly. It's the service that separates exceptional from OK companies. Extremely pleased with this item. Received and performs as described. Have used on my truck, riding mower and motorcycle with Great results. The size is perfect for stowing on the bike for travel and peace of mind. Would purchase again.

I like it that the hose can be tucked in, but at the same time it's not long enough if the tire valve is around 12 o'clock. Not sure if dangling in the air is better than bouncing all over the payment. You can attach the Presta valve extension, but I found that using the screw-in valve is faster and more efficient. But one of my valves is crossed threaded, so I had to use the extension. It would help if a quick instruction label were attached. I had to scramble for the skimpy manual to refresh my memory. I would recommend using standard ISO marking in the buttons, like ON/START. 2 seconds press on to turn it on, the larger number on top is your current pressure, the bottom number is your targeted psi. Press again on the M to start the pump. The display is hard to read in a sunny day, thankfully there is only 5 modes to cycle through. It remembers the last mode used, and the psi that was set. It's noisy, but that's expected. The hose gets hot in prolong use, I would stop in the middle and let it cool off, if you can. I let the battery run down to zero, to try out the DC power in the car. At zero battery, once you insert the power plug at the bottom, the battery status changed to full bar and the inflator started pumping air. This gives you peace of mind that if you are out of juice, you can rely on the car DC—it will also recharge with the DC. If you’re wondering, when charging via USB, the unit won’t turn on. A small issue with the cigarette lighter DC plug, it doesn’t hold in place, it springs back out, cutting off the power. I pressed in the two springs on the side, it’s better, but it still wants to back out. I ran it down from 100% to 0%, it ran over 25 mins, which is better than what it claimed. Update-1023 Had an issue with the battery charging erratically and running down faster than it should. Contacted support and they sent a replacement promptly. So the warranty is there if you need it.

Sweet little unit. I keep it on bikes now as its 100x easier than a manual pump. This thing has tested well for me. I've done 20 tubed tires empty to full on one charge and battery has lots left. Its powerful and compact.

The pressure gauge shows inaccurate readings on my electric scooter front tire, sometimes literally showing values more than twice as high as they actually were (e.g. 93.5 psi instead of under 40 psi), which apparently caused inflation to malfunction on those occasions. Additionally, air leaks way too rapidly when removing from the tire (bringing it down to 0 psi in like 5 seconds), negating much of its use. Back tire seemed to work okay for whatever reason, but due to the crazy issues it had with my front tire, I can't be sure it's accurate. At one point the indicator light also flashed red for an unknown reason. The battery was sufficiently charged. My scooter is a Segway Ninebot MAX G30P. The AstroAI L7 Mini was meant to be a spare tire inflator I keep at my girlfriend's. I already had the Xiaomi Mi Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 at home which is far more convenient for electric scooters and hasn't exhibited any of the aforementioned issues, including virtually zero air leakage during removal (very important for electric scooters) which I guess is helped by the lack of a traditional lever on the valve end of the quick connector. I suppose I may have been spoiled, but whatever the case, there are better options for electric scooters out there than the AstroAI L7 Mini.

I had this for about a year and used it several times, it works great and is easy to use. Like the preset PSI feature you can set it and make sure all your tires are set to the correct pressure in just a few minutes. The battery lasts a long time, even stored in the truck for months it doesn't go dead. I tend to recharge it right after I've used it or if I think about it just take it out and give it a quick recharge to be sure it's ready in case I need it. The included accessories are great for inflating a variety of other things, and the drawstring sack to keep it all together and handy whenever needed. The size is great, seems very well made and sturdy and not overly noisy. Just an inexpensive tool everyone should keep in their car and not have to pull off the road seaching for a service station with an air hose and then hoping you have quarters to make it work. This keeps me self sufficient and prepared. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Way better than i expected, this pump really works! I use it for my bike and my car. And my bike uses those skinny Presta valve, and the pump works equally well on both. Dont be surprised by the noise, means it has a powerful pump. Very accurate psi too.

At first, I loved it. Easy to charge up. Compact, aired up tire very quickly and the read was accurate according to my air gauge. However, it would only air up one tire, then the thing ran out of battery. I have my bikes in a shed out back with no power. I need this to at least air up one bike, I would have thought it would do many more on a charge. I put it on charge until the battery light quit blinking and said it was full. No more than started the thing up and the battery light went to half and then it shut off before one tire was even full. I was finally able to fill both tires, but it took a few charges to do so.

Mit meiner konventionellen Luftpumpe konnte ich nie genug Luft in die Reifen pumpen. Das ist jetzt vorbei. Mit der elektrischen Pumpe sind meine Reifen in Nullkommanix wieder prall gefüllt. Das kleine, handliche Gerät ist etwas laut, aber die Reifen sind schnell aufgepumpt, so dass es für die Nachbarn erträglich ist. Ich würde es Jedem empfehlen.

Used this to pump wheels on bike, no problems with the presta attachment. Pumped wheel from flat in about 30 seconds. It's loud, as are all air pumps, but not overly so.

This is my first portable battery operated bike pump so I cannot compare it to others in real usage. I read and watched reviews on every one I could find in the price range and size I wanted. This one stood out for many reasons: size, speed, battery life, 2 year warranty and it can inflate car tires as many out there say in small character'' not for use on car tires'', this one is! The moment of truth was when I used it, it works great, pumped up my bike tires from 30 psi to 50 psi in no time. The noise level is very acceptable for what it is, it's a air compressor so it will make noise! As for the actual battery life, it stayed full bars but I only pumped up two tires with it. Comes in a nice little velvet pouch for the pump and accessories. Time will tell if it will last a long time but from what I can feel and see, it should, the build quality is really good and solid! Very happy with this little pump which I will ad to my e-bikes' carry bag. If you ride a bike often, you need a pump and a flat repair kit for sure and in my book, this little unit is a winner!
