Perfect fit and improved noise reduction as the originals were beginning to wear after 1600 hours use 12 hours a day. Installation Video helpful and required to avoid damaging the headset. Close color match and comfort better. That said, the touch sensors are no better during the hot weather and I am considering the silicone protectors as well during hot weather conditions. To avoid water damage.

Great ear pads. I've had the XM5's for 4 months and put off getting these earpads as I reasoned that Sony would have better R&D than a small third party company. Boy was I wrong! The earpads are more comfy for sure. One of the reasons I was unsure wether to get these is I thought the noise cancelling would be worse and I heard on Reddit that callers could hear themselves with WC's. I tested the noise cancelling with one original earpad and one WC earpad with an external speaker as seen in the video. The WC significantly adds to the noise cancellation. I was pleasantly surprised. Perhaps the old ones are worn out by 4 months of 8 hours of workdaily use, but the seem good still. Callers can hear themselves with these pads, but only when you turn the volume up to an uncomfortable level. Perhaps thats the case with the old pads too, I didn't test that. For normal use/ people with normal hearing it should be fine, my friend couldn't hear herself when it was at a normal volume level. Overall 5/5. Will be testing these out at work, commuting etc to see how they hold up to real world use, but loving them so far.

Those are quality ones. My second pair. Thicker, makes the headphones more stable on the head especially when working out at the gym. Might be a problem when worn with glasses.

These are a solid replacement and fit well. I can’t say I really notice the “extra thick” aspect they seem pretty much the same as the original ones to me. That said, they’re comfortable and do the job just fine.

Every set of headphone I have purchased for the last few years instantly get an upgrade with a set of WC cushions. For someone with slightly larger ears I find these give a little extra clearance making these a lot more comfortable than the standard Sony cushions which were already pretty good. I also feel like these aid with better noise cancelling by providing a better seal.

Good quality, comfortable, secure fit, make sure to clip them in fully then go round again and gently press on the plastic to secure fully

I've had these for a while and they are great. The original pads were too thin. These fit better and do not compromise the headphones functionality. Transparency, noise cancelling, of ear detection still function as normal. I can't say if they change the sound profile as I use the inbuilt EQ. Removing the old pads was simple, using a kitchen knife and replacement was straightforward. Just don't snap the supports. The pads have held up so far but I don't wear them in the heat as they create Loads of sweat.

Clips on back a little bit harder to attach than original, the few mm of difference does make a difference to comfort, would like a bit more, but definitely an improvement! Bit expensive at £20. Seem decent quality.

I got these as an alternative to the stock ear pads that come with Sony WH1000-XM5 because the originals caused a skin reaction. They were easy to replace because of their clear instructions. They were actually more comfortable. Sadly, they are made of the same material. I reached out to the company, they were understanding and gave me a refund. If they start using other material that is not Soft PU Leather, I will definitely buy them.

First of all, I think it does a really good job of replicating the original. The colour is spot on. However, there are a few differences. First it sticks out a bit more than the original ones, and has creases along the outside and inside. It also isn’t as soft, which you can feel clearly when you put it on. But only by slightly. It doesn’t feel as moulded to my head as the originals. But! For what it is I think it does a really good job! And if none of this bother you then it’s all good! 😌 in the video the one on the left is the wicked cushions, right is the original.

Para mi los originales me hacen algo de daño porque me roza en el interior del auriculares con el sensor de si los llevas puesto con la oreja y con estos al ser más gruesos, van perfecto me puedo pasar horas y horas con ellos puestos que la comodidad es perfecta.

Very comfortable with comparable noise cancelling compared to the original ear pads. Be aware that they'll gradually break in over the course of the first month or so of use. The pads are deeper than the originals, so you get more ear clearance, but there's a noticeable change in how you perceive sound volume. Shouldn't be too significant since you can always turn it up.

I'm very pleased with those pads, I think they are better then the original pads. Sadly it did't fix the head sensor problem, I think its a software issue.
