Consistent quality over the years
We’ve been using Lurpak Slightly Salted Spreadable for over 10 years now, and one thing I can say is the quality has remained consistently good. It spreads easily straight from the fridge, tastes great, and works well on everything from toast to sandwiches. We’re aware it’s not 100% butter (it’s a blend with rapeseed oil), but we’ve gotten used to the taste and texture over time and actually prefer how easy it is to use compared to harder butters. A doctor friend once mentioned that constantly switching butter brands isn’t always ideal, as different blends and ingredients may not suit everyone. So if something works for you, it’s often best to stick with it — and that’s exactly what we’ve done. The only downside is the size change. It used to be 500g and is now 400g at a similar price point, which clearly reflects inflation and shrinking pack sizes. Not great, but also not surprising these days. That said, the product itself hasn’t changed in terms of quality, which matters most to us. It’s reliable, tastes good, and does exactly what we need — so we’ll continue buying it and would happily recommend it to others looking for a dependable spread.

Magnificent butter that isn't.
Probably the finest butter (that isn't butter) in the world. I would gladly sell all of my girlfriend's clothes, just so I could buy a butter mountain of it. Put it on everything you won't regret it, even your skin. Marvellous.
