What are the tires rubber or plastic?

Plastic. This is less than half the price of the pneumatic dual hinge models. It still works, we use it to service 20 mowers weekly. Our firm will get 2-3 seasons out of it, which is several lifetimes if you only own a few machines or less. If you own numerous machines and you want something that will last forever this is not the tool.

As long as you can get the hook underneath the deck without any obstruction, i would think this would work. I have only used the lift on zero turn mowers.

It should. I use it on my 54 hustler zero turn. By the way, this thing makes my life a lot easier.
