Perfect Granddaughter gift!

This lamp is such a great light for a nightlight and is very heavy-duty. It comes with the remote, the usb cord attached, with the ball and the base unattached which I didn't mind at all and my son loved it. There are so many settings and colors and your child will love this! We've had it for quite a while and the battery hasn't given out at all. Great for anyone who needs a nightlight or just loves Minecraft! A great buy!

Love this little color changing light. Giving it a four only because it was smaller than I expected. Definitely read up on the size to determine if it’s the right thing for you. Color options are fun and it hasn’t lost its brilliance.

The globe itself is heavy and feels sturdy, and the axolotl inside responds and glows beautifully! My 8-year-old loves it. The only issue we had was with the remote control not working right out of the box. We received our replacement the next day, and it works perfectly.

I got this for my granddaughter’s 6th birthday coming up. She loves axolotls and wanted a real one. I was happy to find this very nice light on Amazon and I figure it’s probably the best compromise to a real axolotl as I can get! The axolotl figure inside the light is cut/etched nicely and shows nicely in the light. There are many different colors to choose from by using the provided remote control. The remote comes with a battery. The base is wooden, and the glass globe sits directly onto it. I was a little surprised that if you remove the glass globe, the electronics board is exposed without any sort of cover. It includes a plug-in cord only—you have to provide your own USB block to plug into the wall. You cannot remove the plug-in cord from the base. Since this is a gift, I got a plug-in block separately to include with the light so that my granddaughter will have everything she needs right away when she opens the gift. I think she is going to like this a lot. I’m happy with it. I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be.
