Hands down the best meat thermometer ever! Open it to turn on, close it to shut off. F/C scales, back-lit option is awesome, instant read and lights temp from 130-170F Magnet on the inside so will attach to fridge, stove or bbq. Also come with stick on hook material to mount in other areas. Love it!

Love this thermometer. Have used it to temp meats, monitor water temperature when pickling, temping candy mixtures, and more. Has a great range of temperatures and works really fast. Ir's also really easy to use, just unfold the probe and it turn right on, fold it back and then its turned off.

I like the fact that it can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius units. Great read and is pretty accurate. Only issue I have is that it uses a coin battery, which I don't keep spares around the house. I would give this 5 stars if it used AAA batteries. Otherwise, a great thermometer for the price.

While using the thermometer in our kitchen to test internal temperature of steak. The plastic rim holding thermometer broke and no way to collapse and turn off. Thankfully it goes to sleep after a set time. I can't return because it is outside return period.

This is an impressive thermometer for the price. I also have a much more expensive version and this is as good. One of the problems with most inexpensive meat thermometers is that they take a long time to reach a stable temperature. This one has a small tip with little thermal mass, like the more expensive versions. That means it heats up quickly and provides a stable result. It has a nice backlight, temperature hold feature, and it turns on and off easily by just pivoting the probe. It has a magnet so you can keep it on your refridgerator

I have had this thermometer a little over two years, using it every two weeks when making yogurt. It measured accurately and always worked great.....until this morning. I pulled out the probe and the plastic where the probe turns broke off and the gauge went blank. I have no back up and will have to throw out my entire batch of yogurt which uses a gallon of milk.

I’ve finally gotten into this century 😁 .. I have used this old, can barely read it dial thermometer forever. Ordered this amazing digital food thermometer and I couldn’t be more happier. I had to right away test it out comparing it to my old dial. I microwaved a cup of water and placed both in. As much as I could read my old one... they were showing the same degrees. I had to test it again. I have had roast in the crockpot now going on an hour and a half. So again I put them both in and again they showed the same degrees as best I could read my old one. It has a feature that I didn’t know it had when I ordered it, it has a built in magnet. I can put it on the side of my vent hood and it will be right there when I need it. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a professional quality thermometer. It has all the necessary whistles and bells needed in the kitchen. It is easy to hold and use, and is accurate. It is also waterproof and also very fast when using to temp food. Luvok spared no expense designing this great product.
