Cushion is comfortable yet is quite firm, do not be put off by its firmness, it is quite comfortable for long periods of sitting, as long as 4-6 hours. I have never experienced any pressure sores - zero. It is easy to use in wheelchairs and regular chairs. I recommend adding Velcro to prevent the cushion from moving to an unintended spot on a chair, especially wheelchairs (conventional or powered). The rounded front edge is very helpful in sitting and standing, it prevents getting caught on the cushion edge and potentially displacing the cushion and sitting on an uncomfortable spot. The fabric is sufficiently slippery to easily find a comfortable seating position and is not too slippery to slide around unintentionally. I can report that the cushions have remained comfortable and undamaged in any way during almost 1.5 years of continuous use. They seem to be quite durable I have purchased 2 of these cushions for use in my chairs, and have added Velcro to both my wheelchairs to keep the cushion firmly in place. This is a cushion that helps me sit more comfortably and for longer periods on the chair. The quality and support it provides help my back have less pain. The thickness is enough to make the cushion do the job, and it doesn't flatten like other cushions I've used.

I sat in my wheelchair with this seat cushion for12 hours with no problems whatsoever. I usually could only last 5 hours max without a seat cover. This truly made my Granddaughter’s wedding a comfortable memory.

I have had this a while but just started using it..I have both of my femers broken a d crushed and so no weight bearing on my legs. Ben in a bed for 1year now. So just started using it in my wheelchair to go to appts. Only thing is I like it but it is missing the strap that hookes it into the wheelchair so it slips on me alot. Going to talk to seller about missing strap to see if they can send me m one. Other then thatnit b is a super comfortable cushion. Buy it if needed but sure to look and see if strap was with it. I feel if purchased you will love it too.

This cushion is soooooo comfy yet firm and cooling. Works well if you are a woman with pelvic pain, postpartum pain, or any other issue that affects your ability to sit. It relieves all of that. So happy to have this item. May have to get one for the hot car also. Thanks. Update: Daily prolonged use has aggravated existing lower back pain and pelvic pain. So I can no longer recommend for these issues. It is a sturdy good product. It's just not for me. I'll go back to using the softer version of this same brand.

Excellent cushion - Comfortable, thick Gel that has great cushioning- easy to sit on, relief on the base of spine. It's a bit thick so picking the right chair outside of a wheelchair is a consideration. Really happy with it
