These are delicious with a touch of hint. I wish they were a little chewier. I am on a search for an old fashioned licorice that was called licorice Buttons. These were as close as I’ve come to finding the texture.

I look to Europe for licorice that has some oomph, and am surprised that this product from the Netherlands has little flavor, of licorice or honey. Just a wad of syrups and starch that's not even entertaining to chew!
