Are the mirror approved? With marking?

Cannot see any marking that would indicate “approval”, It was expensive, but very well engineered. I am very happy with it.

How easy are these to put on a 900 thunderbird bars as have read there are issues with a internal thread in bars

HiI fitted mine to a 1960 Tiger 100 so didn't have any problem just followed the instructions supplied for a standard 7/8 handle bar (instructions are supplied for use with 7/8 - 5/16 & 1" bars) - if you have balance weights on your bars you may need the additional extension fitting, but shouldn't have a problem, if in doubt phone Halcyon and ask them I'm sure they will have come across this one before... good luck

Hi Dan, ignore my previous lippy remark, but I,d had a beer or two. Providing you have 7/8"-1" bars, you just need to expose the hollow bar end of the throttle side, or indeed both sides if you require two mirrors and if 7/8" you don't need the spacers provided. I would say these are a little pricey, but they are the best and don't slacken off while riding which some of the cheaper ones can do with vibration..... No guarantees but that's my tuppence worth....
