Got this to help when travelling as a solo female. Has worked well so far and provides a sense of safety

I can tell that this is a very good device. It’s well made and straightforward to use. I also love the drawstring pink pouch and the spare silicone guards. However personally I’m disappointed right now because it unfortunately doesn’t work on the Travelodge Hotel door I’m staying at in London UK. This is a shame as the area is sketchy and the manager who checked me in displayed some unprofessional behaviour that has left me feeling uneasy. My room also happens to be at the end of a long corridor on the top floor 😬

My door/standard doors in the UK are way thicker than items length so cannot use it unfortunately.

It works but is a bit fiddly at first. Due to the thickness of the architrave around the door I had to change the bolt for a longer one. However it does work well.

My door's situation was not like any shown, but it still worked. Outer metal lip exceeds the casing by a lot to the point it is exceptional. I wasn't sure even if the extention on the item would be far enough out. Make sure you look at how the item is set up as its not apparent as to the reason why until you try to install it yourself. There is a video, I highly suggest you watch it although the lock appears to be straightforward. I will be using this on my own apartment main door that opens to a hallway as we have had breakins. Also, if you feel that maintenance or property management is unlawfully entering your home, this works well. I will buy a 2nd one for traveling and safety. It is well made and I had someone try to force the door open once they used the key and they couldn't get in. Travelability: Small and easy to keep on your person even while out and about. Safety: Easy to remove in case of fire. Fit: I knew it would fit because I can see light from the hallway. Color: Its a portable lock, if you care about the color and not the safety, then your priorities are off. So handy and can take it anywhere - feels really secure when installed. Did not do any damage to my door frame either. Simple place, spin on the butterfly nut. Great idea!
