Adorable and delicious in mini size
I bought several of these mini panettones for my co-workers as holiday gifts since they know of my Italian heritage, and it just so happens that my Nonna loves these and gave me the idea - I'm so glad that I did! Bauducco always knows what they're doing when making these delectable cakes - they're super moist, have the perfect amount of dried fruit and sweetness, and fluffy. They were a hit. The mini size is a great value making it perfect for 1 or 2 people to enjoy. No issues with the packaging through shipping. Highly recommend!

Very tasty. Has a rich vanilla extract flavor.
I really like this flavor, but it's hard to find. It almost tastes like a rum cake due to the rich, natural tasting vanilla flavoring.

Not the same as the mini's in the store
Gran Panettone is one of my absolute favorite fall/holiday foods. I started with the large one at Costco on a whim, and at first it was odd. Then we all got addicted - it was SO tender, and SO mildly sweet, and chewy, and orang-y and amazing. I noticed the "mini" panettone at Smith's a few nights ago for only $1.50 or so. I figured it was worth taking the chance to see if it MIGHT stand up to the larger one. I was afraid it would be dry since the overall size is so much smaller and it cooks for a long time. It wasn't! :) It was still moist and tender and WONDERFUL. SO, I took a chance and ordered a mini one online despite mixed reviews. I received it today, and first checked to make sure it was not expired. It wasn't! Good until mid 2025. Then I opened it. It was a dark color, just like the good one from Smith's, but the similarities stopped there. The texture of THIS one was dry and more crumbly instead of moist and tender. Definitely a disappointment. I don't know if this provider simply stores them differently, but whatever they do, it creates a downgrade. Don't let this one stop you from getting one from Costco or a grocery store... They really are amazing if made and stored right. But I wouldn't get one from this provider. Not worth the $1.50 to try to get a refund.

Great gifts ๐
I love these small cakes as I give them as birthday gifts to friends. I also like big panettone for at home.

Itโs okay
Itโs a wee bit dry but fits the bill when I want a pre measured treat. Not the best panettone Iโve had but the price works atm

Odd Tasting, Dry with Bits of Fruit and Raisins
Hoping for a great piece of cake but this is NOT it. Has an odd "foreign or European" taste that is not pleasant to me. Not very moist but crumby and hard to call it fresh. Sort of like some Army survival ration desert. Ugh. Baked in a waxed paper that is firmly glued to the cake and very hard to remove without damaging the muffin like cake. The bits of candied fruit and few raisins perk up this rather stodgy chunk of cake. Not a great cake but better than no cake. Nice low price makes up for some of the faults.

Delectable vanilla panettone....
Is this panettone a cake or bread? It is neither and both at the same time...and happens to be a hybrid. It is a delicious combination of both, infused with a hint of vanilla and very fresh. It is so tiny that I thought I could have eaten the whole thing with a cuppa of milky tea that I was drinking, however, this delicious panettone is so rich that I cut only a small portion, and that sufficed for the present moment. I wrapped the rest in plastic wrap, placed it in its Bauducco box, and in the refrigerator it went for another time. This panettone is not cloyingly sweet, but it is moist and has just the right amount of sweetness and a hint of vanilla...a very sophisticated accompaniment to the beverage of your choice...be it a cuppa, an espresso, etc. I was thinking of adding some raspberry fruit spread to the panettone, but that would be gilding the lily. This panettone stands on its own for flavor and freshness, and a small portion goes a long way due to its incredible richness.

Enough for Two People!
When I ordered this I did not realize it was a mini panettone although I should have known that because of how inexpensive it was! This is enough for two people if you just cut it in half. It is good with a little butter. I did not break out because this must not have very much palm oil in it. I got two more arriving today and my husband loves this cake bread! I can see myself ordering this a lot in the future! It is so delicious! Usually this is a holiday treat once a year but it really is worth having more often!!! ~The Rebecca Review
