best massager every. We love it.
This is a miracle worker greatest massager I ever purchased in my 39 years of adulthood. I am 50 years old. I discovered this product at physical therapy they purchased theirs from target and I purchased mines from amazon it works just as great and was delivered the same day for free with my Prime membership. Everyone in my family loves it we even let the three month feel it he loves it too we have only used the lowest speed with the white covers and the heating we haven't tried out the grey cover yet. We use it daily around the house. as soon as I can afford more we will buy some more.it is very Durable, easy to use attachments easy to change, helps relieve pain and tension. Good value for your money it the best forty something dollars with tax I have ever spent. Every adult in pain should try it even helped me with my headaches since the accident I use heat only on my temples for one minute. headaches goes a away and stay gone for two days at least. so far no headaches at all this week it is April 3, 2025.

best massager ever, helps with chronic pain and sciatica, promotes rest and sleep, actually helps to breakdown stubborn fat
This is the best purchase I have ever made for back and neck pain! I have bought moist heat pads, inversion table, lumbar braces, etc, but this is by far the best item for relieving discomfort. I noticed at a chiropractor recently that I had immediate muscle relief when he used a similar item to break up the fascia and allow healing, releasing the bound up energy in areas that have been spasmed for long time. I researched many products and decided upon this one for many reasons: 1. it has multiple twin head covers, soft, hard and if removed the knobs have heat control! 2, it is long enough for me to use on my own back and neck with a looped handle that other massagers do not have 3. The knobs have accordion like connection that allows for movement flow vs only one position I started using this every night on my buttocks and hips and sides and obtained so much relief that it was unbelievable!!! Then I remembered how in the 60s people used stand up massagers with belts that jiggled fat and marketed it as weight loss item instead of exercising. In some cases this type of movement helps to lose weight and tone areas because it again breaks up the tight bonds between fascia and muscle and fat, allowing fat to be broken down and used as energy. That type of fat that is hard to get rid of is on thighs and buttocks in women as is hard and yellow. It is the type that women pay big dollars to have removed by liposuction because it is difficult to get rid of in general. I started using the massager on the front of my thighs and noticed a change in the contour as the massager released the hard fat from the muscle which encourages its use as energy through metabolism. I lost weight too! Five pounds so far and have not changed anything wlse in my world. Five pounds of fat is a large volume! Not likel five pounds of muscle which is much smaller. So the funky chunky wrinkles in my thighs from hard fat are beginning to go away! But the real blessing of this devise is the relief I obtain in my neck and shoulders and upper arms and hips and ribs and legs every night, releieving sciatic pain as the nerve gets released from stubborn muscles and allowing me to rest. I would give it ten stars if I could. I keep it pugged into the outlet next to my bed and use it every night, and sometimes when preparing for the day. It would be great to help men or women to stretch their legs before exercising or playing sports so as to minimize injury...sports players know how important stretching is to their longevity in play. I paid for this item and have received no compensation from the company nor Amazon for this review.

Works Well, but Awkward and Heavy to Hold
I purchased this as a home treatment while also undergoing PT and professional massage, to deal with severe Piriformis Syndrome affecting numerous large muscles, resulting from a torn miniscus on the alternate knee. I am not an athlete and have not used a massage gun prior to this. It worked well for gluteus maximus muscles, and while it also worked for gluteus minimus and piriformis muscles, it was a bit more difficult to get deep into those muscles or their trigger points when using it on myself, though still possible. It was helpful for pain and throbbing of upper thighs and down calves, as well, offering good relief during use. The massager offers 4 strength levels and is strong and effective. However, the heat function took quite a while to heat up and was not as effective as the overall massager itself. The biggest drawbacks are the weight of the massager and the unwieldy nature of the device owing to its overall size, making it somewhat top-heavy. Nevertheless, this would not be a deal-breaker given the strength of the massager. Its size was helpful, however, when running it down the legs, for instance. Using it for several months it offered me welcome relief at the moment and over time. The noise level is reasonable and well within what you might expect from such a device. For instance, it is no problem to hold a conversation with others while using the device. This is the first massage gun I have tried, but I would say it is a very good value for the money and a good, quality product to try as a first purchase.

Massager for Sinuses?
I've had my massager for almost 4 years now. Best birthday present ever! When I first got it, I used it to massage my back and feet. The massager is sturdily built, and the vibration is nice and strong. The heat is a pleasant touch. It can get pretty warm, almost uncomfortably so. I still have the covers for the heads, but never use them because I use the heat setting every time I use the massager. The back massage is much more enjoyable if you get someone else to use it on you, but it's nice to have the option for self-massage. Some people complain about the weight of the massager, but I like it. What I'd like to write about is a new use that I stumbled upon. I've been having sinus issues and while looking up info on irrigation, I found an article about using vibration to clear your sinuses. So turned my massager on medium, hit the heat button, placed a folded hand towel over the heads, and laid face-down on it on my bed. I began with the heads over my eyebrows, then just under my eyes, then on each cheek. It's kind of large for my face, but it works amazingly well. The gunk in my sinuses began to break up almost immediately. I did this for 5-10 minutes, and followed with the Neilmed Sinus Rinse. It didn't get it all in one session, but I noticed a marked improvement. This crud has been there for awhile (years), so it would be a miracle to get it all out in one go. I will continue to do this at least once a day and see how long it takes to get it all out. I've been playing around with the intensity, and found that I can handle it on high. YMMV.

My third one of these
I bought my first Homedics massager about 25 years ago and it's been my go-to ever since. The first two lasted about 15 years each before the mechanical on-off switch died. There was a second one with an infinite adjustment level. The new one is a single 4-position electronic switch with a heat switch. I don't care for the switching very much and I can't get the very low speed that was previously available but it doesn't affect the quality of the massager. Hopefully the unit lasts as long as the previous ones have. Homedics massagers give a far superior massage than any other units out there, particularly better than the single head guns that are so popular. It just affects a wider area and so the effect is greater. Pro-tips: 1] Don't use it in one area for too long at a time or it could make the muscle more sore. Anyone who has overdone it with a professional masseuse knows what I'm talking about. 2] Consider using it on your sinuses. It seems counterintuitive to apply this banger to your cranium, but it will stun your sinuses into letting go the same way it loosens up a muscle. I find it helpful to hold it by the head of the massager so it doesn't bounce and that can be painful. If even this is too much, consider putting one thumb on each of the heads and use the thumbs. While it doesn't generally bother me to use it straight, if I've let it get too tender, I will often start with the thumbs method to start the loosening process.

Short Shelf-Life
I love this massager, when it works. I've owned this specific model for probably 10 years now, but in that 10 years, I've had to buy it 10 times. I haven't found another massager that works as well (again, when it works), which is why I keep going back to this one, whether it's a repurchase or a warranty replacement. From my experience, this is the typical timeline, assuming daily use of a an hour or so: Day 1 to Day 30: works fine, noise is low, power is good Day 31 to Day 60: noise starts to become louder, but not unbearable for others Day 61 to Day 200: noise starts to get progressively louder, and the only way to use without annoying anyone else is to place it in your lower back so it muffles the sound Day 201 to Day 365: at some point during this period, one of these things will happen -- the massaging heads will detach from the body, making it unusable; a piece will break off internally and annoyingly rattle around along with the unbelievably loud sound; or, the unit will just burn itself out and shut itself off forever. So, if you're willing to spend $30 annually on this unit and deal with the loudness, it's fine. But if you're looking for longevity along with the effectiveness, you should look elsewhere.

Really strong and heat is good
This massager was recommended by a friend and I will say it is very effective. The covers that it comes with that cover the vibrating balls, are not really needed. It works well enough without it and the heat comes through better as well. The handle is extra long which is good to reach farther, but the overall weight of the massager, coupled with the long handle, can make it heavy to hold onto for more than a few minutes. I did find that I could wedge it between my back and the sofa back to keep it in place without using the handle at all. Also, the balls are a little too widely space to hit the tops of your shoulders, so it has limited uses for shoulder and upper back. You can use one ball on the top of your shoulder, but again, it is a little awkward. Not sure if I would get it again. It does work well, just the handle is very awkward....

Finally Something for Chronic Pain
Before I bought this for my husband, I read every review. I was skeptical in that people were talking about how it was not easy to use, how the heads were warped, and how the heat didn't work. But I bought it, and I am so glad that I did. My husband has had chronic back pain for about 4 years now (he just turned 30 too). I have really weak wrists, so I have not been able to massage him well when he's needed it the most. I was looking into massagers, and I found this on a best list of 2019 as the best hand massager. They were not kidding. This has the power to really get into his muscles, and I am able to easily apply extra pressure on it as I massage him. He also uses it alone with ease. Now, the heat does not work on ours, but I still gave it five stars anyway because we aren't missing it. It comes with an extra set of heads (the "hard" ones). I will say that the hard heads really glide on the skin and over clothes whereas the soft heads pull at clothes and make it difficult to use unless on bare skin - and even then it can pull. We just keep the hard ones on, and it works like a dream! I don't have chronic pain, however there have been a couple times that I slept on my back wrong (or pulled a muscle in my shoulder recently), and just a few minutes with this, and I am back to normal. I cannot recommend this enough as an affordable, handheld massager - it's even better if you have an amazing wife like me that will massage you with it. :D

Terrible
This massager does not knead. It only vibrates. And the vibration is so strong, even on the lowest setting, that your whole body and head vibrate while using it on your upper back. Very unpleasant. Hard to even hold when on higher settings because it vibrates so much. Not to mention it's also loud and heavy. Overall, terrible product.

A reliable companion for family relaxation for six years
Six years ago, I purchased the HoMedics percussion massager with heating, a decision that I absolutely do not regret. This product has proven to be a true ally for the well-being of my entire family, and I feel obliged to share our positive experience. The first thing I have to emphasize is the impressive durability of this massager. After six years of constant use, it still works as well as on the first day. The quality of construction is evident, and it is reassuring to know that we can count on this device to offer us relief at any time. The adjustable intensity is a feature that we particularly appreciate. Whether for a gentle massage after a long day or a more intense massage to relieve tired muscles, this massager meets all our needs. The dual pivoting heads are very effective in reaching all points of tension, and the two sets of interchangeable heads offer additional flexibility. The heating function is a real asset. It adds an additional dimension of relaxation and relief to every massage. This massager has also been very valuable during my wife's two pregnancies. She would ask me almost every night to give her a back massage, and thanks to this massager, I was able to provide her with the relief she needed. It was a real lifesaver during those times, and I am very grateful for that. In conclusion, I highly recommend the HoMedics percussion massager with heating. It is a quality, durable, and flexible device that has satisfied the needs of our entire family for many years. If you are looking for a massager you can count on, do not hesitate to opt for this model. You will not regret it.
