Long overdue replacement
The first set lasted 10 years, and started to disintegrate. What wasn't clear in the blurb was that this packet of "cutting heads" does indeed include both the cutters and the foil, in matched pairs, which are a replacement to drop into the existing plastic head. The improvement in cutting was embarrassingly good.

Should have replaced the heads earlier
New heads give a much improved and more comfortable shave. Only concern was the packaging the replacement heads were delivered in. No Philips markings or logos just plain cardboard and clear plastic. However the heads themselves were marked the same as the ones I had so presumably genuine.

Philips shaver heads
WOW, what a difference new cutting heads make. Just be careful that you select the correct head replacement number for your particular shaver as there are many different models on the market. This company gives a list of models and compatible heads which is very comprehensive. The heads for my particular model cost under £30 which works out at less than 60p per week for 1 year and they last for at least 5 years before needing replacement (do the maths for yourself). Delivery was quick and very well packaged.

New life into a much used item
I have had this unit for some years and use it for a weekly close shave, renewing the heads had given it a renewed lease of life and \i can look forward to more quality close shaves.
