Absolutely perfect for me. The bristles are definately of good quality and firm as described, absorbes fully desired gels and soaps brushing and massages the skin leaving body feeling super soft clean and rejuvenated .

This is a good body brush, just as good as more expensive ones. It feels solid but it is not too heavy, the wood is smooth and it is well designed. The bristles are quite firm though, if you are not used to it they can feel a little scratchy, but they are great for smoothing your skin and making it really soft, especially if you follow the brushing session with a little oil lotion. i find it is good for improving my circulation, so it should help if you spend a lot of time sitting and get tired legs. And I think if you make it into a habit the brush massage can be quite a relaxing experience. It can be used for wet or dry brushing. It is a long brush, about 47 cm when attached. It is useful that you can separate the brush from the handle, so all places are easy to reach. The handle slides into the brush, and has to be pressed in quite firmly to attach it securely, but once that is done you can brush vigorously and it will not fall out. Overall, this is a handy and comfortable brush...really good value.

My previous back scrubber fell apart after just a few months so I bought this slightly more expensive one. So far so good, with these caveats..... Although I'm a tall person (6' 3") The handle is a little too long even for me when I'm scrubbing my back. I have to hold it about 3/4 of the way down. But that's hardly a major issue. I just wonder why they made it so long. Secondly, the bristles really are very stiff indeed. I've no reason to believe my skin is any more sensitive than normal but I find I have to scrub rather more gingerly than I used to. Aside from these points it seems to be quite well made, so far, and so I've given it 4 stars. If this one too begins to fall apart after a few months I'll revise that rating. (P.S. Beware rave reviews that look as if they might be written by someone's marketing department. They probably are.......) P.P.S. 18 months after purchase and it's better then it was when I bought it. It's still of a piece and the bristles have softened nicely. Either that or my nerve endings have gone numb.

A nice and firm brush that works very well. The handle is removable and has a slight taper on the push-fit that goes into the brush head so you can use it with the strap on the back of the brush for local brushing or extend it with the handle and get to the harder to reach places. As its made of wood, obviously it expands when it gets wet, so don't ram the head in hard and act surprised if the wood splits when it shrinks as it dries out. !!! We've taken to storing the two parts separately using the hooks that are provided, this allows it to dry out naturally and avoids any shrinkage and related stress cracking in the wood where its thinner at the back of the brush head. Looks like a well made brush, definitely worth the price.

Admittedly, I'm no expert in the field of scrubbing brushes, but if you meet anyone who claims to be one, just turn around, walk away and for god's sake whatever you do don't look them in the eye! This brush looks and feels exceptionally high quality. The handle has a slightly waxed feel to it and any water droplets just run straight off, but it doesn't leave a sticky feeling on your hand like an actual wax layer would. The bristles are very firm indeed! Almost painfully so, but since this is meant for dry brushing & exfoliating I guess that's deliberate. However, despite following the instructions of the listing and the sticky warning label on the brush itself advising that it should be left to dry naturally bristles down, I found that after a single use the brush head bowed dramatically, and after a 2nd use it started to split in a couple of places. If this is as a result of moisture being absorbed into the wood (most likely) then drip drying isn't enough to prevent it. For the time being it's still usable and I do like the brush, but beware that you have to be pretty careful with it to prevent it from falling apart.

I purchased the Hydrea London Dry Skin Sauna Brush after I read about the benefits of dry brushing and needed something that could reach my back. This particular brush got good reviews and was a good price. I have been dry brushing with this product now for a month now and it is still in perfect condition. Another reviewer stated that the wood had warped. That suggests that they are using the product in the shower. This is not what this brush is for! Don't get it wet. The bristles are firm - reassuringly firm. It does say cactus bristles and that probably describes the sensation well. If you are brushing sensitive parts like stomachs then this might be uncomfortable; there are less firm brushes out there. You certainly feel the brush against your skin and afterwards you do feel invigorated. The bristles have not come loose and I can imagine this brush lasting a good many years. I am very happy with this dry body brush and recommend it to you. Certainly at this price it offers very good value and it is sustainably produced.

While the product initially seemed to be of good quality, I was disappointed to find that after only three uses, the wooden part where the bristles are attached developed a considerable crack. I assumed this was an isolated issue, so I wanted to contact the seller before leaving a negative review. Unfortunately, it is not possible to contact the seller directly, as all complaints are handled by a chatbot, which eventually redirects you to Amazon. Just to note, this is a low-rated review of the product due to Hydréa London’s failure to stand behind their product. On a positive note, Amazon’s customer service was superb and resolved the issue to my satisfaction.**

I went through a stage where my back acne in particular really flared up and was making me so self conscious. I had started going to the doctor for help and medication... at the same time, I was prepping my body for holiday so started using this every morning before my shower and noticed within a few weeks that my back acne, and the slight chest acne I had COMPLETELY cleared up! I hadn't got round to buying the prescriptions my doctor gave me and I'm glad I didn't, because this was all I needed! When I get flare ups now, I do this every morning before jumping in the shower. There are benefits from doing it properly (starting from your feet and working your way up), but if you're only looking to clear up acne you can just do it on the affected areas before showering and that works fine too. I just do upward strokes four times on each area on my chest, working my way along... back is a little trickier so I start from my spine and brush out towards my shoulder, and then reach my arm around and brush downwards starting from as high up as my flexibility allows me. Hope this is clear and helps.

Parfaite et facile d'utilisation, après quelques mois d'utilisation, juste une petite fissure qui ne change rien à l'efficacité de cette brosse.

Ich habe die Bürste hier bei Schnäppchenland24 bestellt. Die Bürste kam in einem mangelhaften Zustand an. Das Holz war schon geschimmelt, es fehlten bereits Borsten, Preischilder wurden nicht rückstandsfrei entfernt, durch die Verpackung waren alle Borsten verbogen. Da hat wohl einer die Bürste vorher 2 Wochen ausprobiert und zurück geschickt. Irgendwie komisch sowas zugesendet zu bekommen. Die Bürste ist direkt in den Kamin gewandert. Wenn man sieht, wie die Bürste nach maximal 2 Wochen Nutzung aussieht, kann man nur davon abraten.

Excellent body brush, just the right texture, not too soft not too hard. The handle is a huge plus to make brushing the back easy.

I used it for scrubbing. After one week of use, I notice the black stains that flows out from the brush holes and the stained the wood which cannot be washed off
