My wife constantly cuts herself with knives, no matter how simple the task so if she's not cutting herself, the whole family knows that the knives stink. She has had no problems cutting herself with this set, pretty sure twice already, so they are nice and sharp. For the price, even if they only last a couple years, totally worth it.*** Update 04/28/2023 ***It's been 3-months so I figured I would give an update. I was beginning to think these knives must have disintegrated or something since my wife has yet to cut herself, but it turns out, the knives are still really dang sharp and somehow, the wife just isn't cutting herself with them. I have recently used this set for two slabs of corned beef, a London broil and more sausage than I care to admit. Each time these knives continued to cut like I was dealing with butter. Given the cost, I still say, if they only last a year or two, still a great purchase.*** Update 05/22/2023 ***Given that I completely threw my wife under the bus with this review, it is only fair that I admit that I cut my finger with one of these knives about a week ago while doing dishes. Honestly, I'm still not sure how I managed it, but I did, so 4-months in, they are still really sharp and even smack talkers like me might end up with a small cut if not ultra careful, sorry honey.

Excellent kitchen knifes. They cut really good. I love the black color. They also look great on the counter. It came with so many things. Looks way more expensive.

This is a great knife set for the price point. They are very sharp right out of the box & additionally come with a knife sharpener to keep them sharp. The set includes some nice extras like a cleaning tool for the blades, a pizza knife, a cheese knife, a finger guard, & a peeler. The display looks impressive, but the one thing that I could see changing is how the blades sit in the holders. There is a small gap between each row and it’s easy to accidentally put the knives in that gap if you aren’t looking straight down at it. This could lead to a larger blade hitting your countertop. Additionally, having a forward tilt would be nice as well, since you have to pull the whole holder out to put a knife in, or take one out, but that’s just personal preference based on where I keep my knives under the upper cabinets.

I have owned this Home Hero knife set for about 2 years, and overall I have been really happy with the performance. These knives have been used regularly in my kitchen for everyday cooking, and they have stayed sharp and functional through a lot of use.After 2 years, I have started noticing some small chips on the blades, so they are showing signs of wear. However, they still cut well and continue to work for my daily cooking needs. For the price point, I feel like they have lasted a reasonable amount of time and have been a reliable set.I like that the set includes different sizes for a variety of kitchen tasks, and the handles are comfortable to hold. They have been convenient for everything from chopping vegetables to preparing meals.While they may eventually need to be replaced due to the chipping, I have gotten a lot of use out of them and would consider them a good starter or everyday knife set. They have served my kitchen well over the past couple of years.

I acquired this 11-pcs knife set from Home Hero. When I received the knives, they weren't very sharp. However, the set does come with a sharpener in addition to the 5 knives and 5 sheaths, so that worked very well. I was a little concerned of the blade of the knife in that the coloring might come off in time. The knife set is still cutting and chopping just fine and no coloring has come off yet. I haven't had any issues with the knives coming apart or really showing low quality attributes. They are easy to use and easy to clean. I still prefer a woodblock over sheaths but the sheaths do store in the silverware drawer without issue. I would purchase this item again if needed and I would recommend this item to my family.

I really like this knife set, they're pretty sharp and they just stay out of the way, it's not a bulky set but has what you need

When they came, they were pretty dull. These were a present for another person who needed new, sharp knives. I tried each of them and they were all pretty dull. I did sharpen them for her before giving them as a gift. She says they are nice and sharp now and work well. I liked that they came with the sheaths, however, one or two of the sheaths are a little sloppy and loose. I have not had to resharpen them for her yet, so they seem to be keeping an edge. The receiver of the knives says she likes the bright colors, the different sizes, and sharpness (she does know I sharpened them), even though I know she doesn't use them daily.

This set is so perfect and hits the 3 main things I was looking for a new kitchen knife set and I did plenty of research before choosing my choice. I wanted a set with 3 main qualities , which is appearance , sharpness , and value. I have been using the same kitchen knife set for 10 years now and didn’t realize how outdated and dull my previous knives were until now haha. I’m so glad I got this set and i enjoy how unique it is . I think it is beautiful :) and I love the pizza knife ;)

Really good knife set, had them a few months ago and they have maintained their sharpness. No rusting so far after going through the dishwasher. I like the sheaths to put them in for safety and so far they look as good as new so would say the durability is there also.

The knives took a shorter time than expected to wear, but all in all, it was a good purchase.
