Great Device!
These clippers are excellent - I especially wanted some with a vacuum-collection chamber, to minimise mess everywhere when I trim my beard. These do the job admirably - and the unexpected bonus of an interchangeable, finer trimming-head makes it a lot more versatile in use! I’m very pleased with these!

Good enough beard trimmer with an effective vacuum
Due to mixed reviews, I was reticent about buying this, but did so because the excellent Phillips vacuum beard trimmer which has given me years of effective service is no longer available; I'm glad I did. The strength of the vacuum seems better than the Philips was, and the blades cut neatly. On the other hand, it is a more complex and less intuitive design than the Philips, making it less convenient to use; the setting for beard length is fiddly and the comb part flexes making it harder to obtain an even cut. Overall, given that the Philips is no longer available, this is a good enough product for those of us wanting a vacuum beard trimmer.

Better than the Philips vacuum trimmer!
I had been using a Philips BT7500 vacuum trimmer for the past five years, but since two have failed and are now discontinued, I decided to try this Remington trimmer. The main reason I didn't go for this trimmer before is that there's no mention of it cutting shorter than 2mm, and I needed something that cuts to at least 0.5mm, like the Philips. Well, I'm pleased to see that the bare blade cuts to around 0.3 to 0.4mm, which is excellent. The suction of the vacuum is also better than the Philips. You can feel the suction on your face when using it, and there's no evidence of hair in the sink. The quality of this trimmer seems similar to the Philips, but the zippered case is superior to the drawstring pouch included with the Philips. I use this in combination with the excellent Philips OneBlade. The OneBlade provides a clean and close shave allowing you to trim and shape stubble, so you don't need a wet razor. Overall, I'm impressed with this Remington trimmer and highly recommend it.

Not as 'premium' looking as my last one. But it works well.
I've had one of these Remington Vacuum Trimmers for years. My last one survived for many years, but eventually needed replacing. This latest model works just as well. It's such a shame that Remington have gone for the silly lime green colour on the vacuum section. It makes the trimmer seem rather juvenile when compared to the last model, and the rest of their product lines. If you are concerned that the vacuum feature is a gimmick, it is not. If you use this trimmer regularly, you can trim your beard, and even use the trimmer as hair clippers, as the vacuum is strong enough to retail hair trimming while inverted. You just need to remember to empty the vacuum chamber regularly. If you try and do a more significant cut/trim in one go, you will overload the vacuum chamber, to the point where clippings will fall out when you invert the trimmer. But stick to that one simple rule, and you can keep your hair and beard trimmed without a clipping in sight. The only thing I do not like, is where the vacuum exhaust is. It's right where you would naturally want to hold the trimmer while using it as hair clippers. But my previous Remington was the same, so I am used to passing it from hand-to-hand, to avoid covering the exhaust port. There is something quite satisfying about leaving the bathroom, with a trimmed beard and hair, without needing to brush hair from either yourself or the bathroom floor. Recommended.

Ok for the price
It's ok trimmer, not great. Only purchased as it's the only one I could find with a vacuum. However the edge of the compartment which catches the hairs does get in the way when getting towards the tricky parts so I then have to use my old trimmer to go over the rest. For the price cant really moan but this trimmer is nowhere as gone as a Phillips vaccum trimmer i purchased back in 2012

Absolute garbage - avoid.
Do not be tempted to buy this, avoid, buy something else. The only positive thing I can say about this trimmer is that the vacuum function works, everything else about it is utterly terrible. The blades constantly jam and snag on my beard hairs meaning trimming takes much longer than it should and is also a pretty uncomfortable experience. I’ve long used my beard trimmers to shave my hair as well and it struggles to make its way through my, frankly, thin hair without snagging and jamming up. I’d read in other reviews that this thing is noisy but wow, nothing prepares you for how loud this thing is. If you’re an early riser and you live with other people you are going to wake people up with this, it sounds like a jet engine made babies with a chainsaw. It should come with ear defenders. Lastly, it’s weirdly big. It’s very unwieldy to use, compared to previous trimmers I’ve owned it’s size and shape make it very awkward to use. I’ve always had Philips trimmers in the past and will be replacing this with another Philips as soon as I can. Seriously, do not buy this, it is utter garbage.

Impressive
Most of this type of product have little information about the size of the cutting heads and I was looking for something that was smaller than the usual hair clippers and decided to take a chance on this. I am glad that I did because I feel it works really well, including the vacuum collection feature. The instructions claim that it collects up to 95% of clippings if the 6mm length is selected. That is the length that I currently use and I would say the claim is pretty accurate, with only a very few stray clippings falling into the sink. The main cutting head is about 3 cm wide (the unit itself only slightly wider), but you also get a separate detail head included which is 2 cm wide. The comb attachment works well enough and offers cutting lengths of 2,3,4,5,6,8,10,12,16 & 18 mm. It doesn't take too long to charge and seems to last for the claimed hour of cordless use. I am really impressed with this and hope it lasts, but with a 3+1 year guarantee, it should give value for money.

Good trimmer - noticed the improvement upon upgrading
Had a previous Remington vacuum shave which i replaced because the battery didnt last more than 2-3 minutes by the end. I hadn't realised how blunt the blades were as this cuts through butter by comparison. The positives are the battery, sharp blades, vacuum feature and the handy case. Negatives are that it doesnt pick up as many trimmings as before (but still 90%) and that the head is bulkier, so harder to trim between mouth and nose. Overall I'm pleased and wished I'd upgraded sooner. Price was great (hence why Amazon pays a tiny amount of UK tax).

Bon pour garder les choses bien rangées
Le seul que nous avons trouvé qui collecte le désordre. Nous sommes satisfaits du rasoir et du vendeur.

Great vac good shave
Works well enough.. onlyba tiny hair or two escape rather than having the whole sink covered in beard hair. Close enough shave. I dont use the heads so no comment on those.

Goed apparaat
Aanrader!

Received item with broken parts
Beard comb mechanism was broken upon arrival. You cannot choose length of trim. Decided to keep it as I always trim at shortest length. Messaged seller. No response. Trimmer itself works good.
