I buy a lot on Amazon and rarely review but I can’t help myself with this item- it’s AMAZING. I used to swear by afterbite but they changed the formula and it now ineffective for me. This is better than the original afterbite. You get that good sting on the mosquito bite where you know it’s working. Also, afterbite was temporary relief but I would keep reapplying. After using this, the itch is GONE within minutes. It’s very small in size and has a usb-c port for charging. This is an afterbite replacement that never expires and never runs out. What more can you ask for!

It definitely works and takes the itch out of a sting within a minute, you may need to do it twice for very itchy bites however it works a treat

Why did I not learn about this a long time ago? Apparently, using heat to kill the protein in a mosquito bite is pretty well-established science, but not very many people are aware. This device is neat and compact, so it is easy to keep handy in a purse, pocket or backpack. It is rechargeable (USB-C), and seems to last a long time on a charge. It only takes a very few seconds to use, and I have found it to be effective - sometimes it does take a second application, and the sooner you apply it, the better. It does apply significant heat to a very targeted area, so if you are sensitive to that feeling, you will have to decide whether you'd rather itch. And, some parts of the body are more sensitive than others - both to heat and itching, so you pick. It is not so hot that it has every left me with any burns - even mildly. My wife is extremely sensitive to mosquito bites, and they find her to be very tasty, so this is a huge help.

TLDR: Yes, I am "that guy", Mosquito's LOVE me. If you share this affliction, you will love this simple device. I have been using this type of mosquito bite mitigation for several years and before that I carried "Afterbite" for decades. This is not painless but it absolutely deletes the bite. No more itchy bumps, each plaguing me for weeks, all summer long... The previous device I carried, used AAA batteries and worked well but the logistics and waste-full use of disposable batteries rubbed me wrong. When I saw this USB-C charged version, I bought 2 of them and 2 years later, with both still working perfectly after suffering rough treatment and everyday carry. I bought 4 more...

It works but I didn’t realise it literally burns the saliva out. Takes a moment to get used to but being burned for 2 seconds is way better then being itchy for hours Also in case anyone was wondering it doesn’t leave burns, or at least not that I’ve noticed. Also lavender deters mozzies
