I selected these at random from a vitamin store, when the live probiotic supplement my GI doctor recommended turned out to be very expensive and had a lag time to be delivered. I had developed IBD after a bout of food poisoning, and while it was slowly improving, I was anxious to get started. The Solaray turned out to be a great decision. I noticed a benefit within a week, and continued improvement over the next couple of months. Stomach, intestines and mucus membranes were less inflamed. No more diarrhea. If you're someone who is prone to yeast infections due to antibiotic use, I think these would also be very helpful. Further, I have noticed that somehow my metabolism seems to have changed. After struggling for years to keep off weight, I found that with just a bit of effort, I was able to lose several pounds. When I have the occasional splurge, I don't immediately gain it all back like I used to. Of course, I can't say for sure this is due to the Solaray probiotics, and don't want to give anyone false hope...but the probiotic was the only new thing added to my regimen. Really not doing much else different, same activity level, similar diet. Whatever the case, I now consider this one of my most essential supplements and will not be without it. A quick note: several have worried that these are not shipped in refrigeration. Apparently, probiotics can go for 10 days out of the fridge, as long as they don't get real hot, and are not exposed to humidity. As quick as Amazon is, I'd imagine it is usually OK - I've never noticed a difference in potency during different seasons. But, if you live in a hot climate, you could always stock up big in April or May, so that you aren't dependent on delivery during the peak heat months.

This probiotic has been life-changing for me. I am a chronic sufferer of yeast, athletes foot and urinary tract infections. It has cured all for me. I’m also noticing great daily digestive health and improved mood, which are typically problematic issues for me as well. I will be sticking with this brand from now on. I have recommended it to family as well. I used to pay a lot for a different brand, recommended by my GYN, and found this one to be far surpassing in quality and curing my above ailments. Don’t forget to refrigerate it.

I really like this probiotic, I noticed a considerable difference when I switched to this product, but I was unaware that it needs to be refrigerated, makes traveling more complicated.

Love this product, helps so much with my grandma's Parkinson's. Side note for reviewers who would have no way to know. Solaray probiotics can be left unrefridgerated for up to seven days - they take shipping and transportation into consideration when they make this product. (I work at a health food store). For more specific information, contact solaray and I'm sure they will be more than helpful.
