Manhattan Toy Nursing Nana Nurturing Dog Stuffed Animal with Plush Puppies

I got this for my daughter's 4th birthday because she nursed long enough to remember it and because she loves to play mommy and baby with all sorts of toys (including a big T rex and a little T-rex). I recently bought a book for kids about where babies come from called " It's Not the Stork!: A Book About Girls, Boys, Babies, Bodies, Families and Friends (The Family Library) " and it has a picture of a pregnant mommy walking a pregnant dog. And it turns out that this toy works really well with that illustration to show that dogs, like humans, are mammals. The toy is really well made, very soft and adorable. The puppies can attach to the mommy dog to nurse using magnets. The magnets work well enough that you can hold up the toy and they don't fall off. My daughter LOVES this toy. I would recommend this to any family. But I can see this as a perfect toy for a school or an educational center. It comes in a plastic bag. For wrapping I used a gift bag. A standard size one will work.

When I was younger I had a puppy surprise that I was in love with and when I saw this little nursing dog, I had to have it for my daughter. Gave it to her for her second birthday because she loves puppies and she was just as excited as I thought she would be. The puppies are the perfect little size with magnets in their snouts to attach onto mom for nursing. Mom has two sets of magnets for each pup to nurse. Super cute little stuffy, the perfect size for carrying around, and the magnets are pretty strong. I could have done without the pink bow but all in all, it is very cute, great quality and super soft.

This little dog has been on my daughter's wish list for 3 years and every year we haven't been able to get it because it's sold out. We FINALLY got one this past Christmas and she loves it! She's renamed everyone. The mother is Pinkie. The babies are Dresser, Brownie, and Dodo (she's six). She makes sure the whole family is together every night and wraps them up tight in a blanket. It's been 4 months and it's still a favorite. The toy is very high quality and the magnets are strong. It's a great way to show your child that mammal mothers feed their babies milk from their breast.

Soo cute my daughter loves it! Would have been nice if they would have made it where you can store the puppies in the mamas belly so they don't get lost as easy. Price is on the high side but cute product.

It is an excellent nurturing toy and normalizes the natural mammalian process of feeding babies with Mother's Milk. It has been a big hit in the house and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, silent, soft and nurturing toy.

For families that have nursing babies or to whom nursing is natural & a way of life, this is a prime toy ! My granddaughters fell in love with it at first glance. Actually, for children that have not been exposed to nursing in the family, this is a lovely toy as well. Provides them with a nature nurture tool. I will probably get the nursing pig & nursing cat too at some point. Just delightful nurturing toys. The puppies stay hooked on with a magnet & it really works well.
