API Algae Scraper for Glass Aquariums 1-Count Container

A bit bigger than I expected, good for larger tanks but with mine being small it was a bit overkill. This doesn't retract from the effectiveness of this scraper, it does the job well.

A replacement for one I had had for several years, now past its best. Useful tool.

Brilliant product, very effective at removing algae from acrylic tank. No scratches, couple of passes and the tank was clean. Could also cut up in to smaller pieces to clean more fiddly areas, used on the end of a small plastic rod to reach bottom of tank without having to move fish out or put hand in the water

This is by a country mile the best algae cleaner I’ve purchased for my 700L reef tank. The cleaner is robust and the handle doesn’t bend allowing the user to put pressure onto the pad. It’s great at cleaning algae, salt build up and makes a perfect job of keeping my black background clean. The handle is long, however the depth of my tank is pretty large which doesn’t stop me from getting wet. The pad itself is quite big and doesn’t quite get down to clean the algae immediately above the sand bed without disturbing the sand which I choose not to do but it gets pretty close. It does a great job of cleaning the algae on the corners of the glass and is well worthy of five stars.

Not worth the price for me. I had a much cheaper version that does exactly the same. Bought this as it was highly recommended for stubborn algae, and it didn’t remove anything. It’s fine as a standard algae cleaner but hasn’t taken off a recent bloom on my aquarium walls.

This is very good quality. Took off all the alage from my glass with minimal effort or power. Obviously if your is very thick algae you might need a scraper first, but mine was pretty bad and this took it off like butter. Must have in your maintenance cupboard.

nice scraper works well good price wish they made one with a longer handle but over all a good aquarium cleaner

Super impressed. I have a 240g acrylic tank that is so scraped from using magnetic scrubbers that were supposed to be acrylic safe. Using this sponge is the first sponge that actually removed algae and did NOT scratch my tank. It works so well even in the deep scratches it gets out the algae. You have to use some muscle for the hard spots but even when you do that it doesn’t scratch your tank. I will be buying many more of these. This is a must have for acrylic tanks. I added one photo to show you one spot it removed the algae.

Great brush. Been using and reusing mine for months. I have a tall tank and this is great for cleaning the walls periodically. As long as you keep up on your tank maintenance it's a breeze and you can have your tank looking great with a few minutes of cleaning during water changes.

Funciona de maravilla, limpia muy bien las algas de los vidrios del acuario. En mi acuario se formó demasiada alga muy rápido, con esto pude limpiarlo de manera rápida y sencilla. No requiere mucho esfuerzo y su tamaño es lo suficientemente largo para hacerlo sin mojar tus manos.
