Great lamp for $99
I bought this over the holidays on sale. I recently received an Amazon Echo as a gift, and wanted to use some of the smart home features it offers. I’m picky about my lighting - I prefer indirect lighting, and really prefer to be able to adjust the brightness. Adjusting color is a huge bonus as well, since I try to limit blue light exposure, and use warm tones at night to help me sleep. Another concern of mine is having too many remotes! The idea of adding more remotes around the room and house is kind of a nightmare, so being able to control things with my phone or my voice is magical. Every other Govee product I have tried has been wonderful, and this is no exception. The light it puts out is perfect for my needs, though it may be just a bit dim for others depending on expectations. Don’t expect this to be the same as having a chandelier or some other type of overhead lamp - the point of this design is to have indirect light that gently glows throughout your space. To that effect, it’s perfect. The quality is great. Assembling it was easy. Pairing it with the app was intuitive and painless. The amount of customization available is nearly overwhelming but a welcome feature to have. My only gripe is the cost - I don’t think this is worth $150, but I’m happy with it for what I paid when it was on sale ($99). It seems like it will last me a long time. My smart products are almost entirely Govee, now. I have a few power strips that are not since Govee does not offer that in their product lineup, but if they did, I would have purchased them over the ones I have. I like Govee so much, that I am even considering purchasing their smart tea kettle! When you find quality products that just work, from a company that cares about its customers, it’s hard to justify looking elsewhere.

Great light, many lighting options.
Great light, love the ability to adjust the scene to your mood or activity. Pros: ● Very easy to setup, only takes minutes. ● Everything needed including a screwdriver to assemble.👍👍 ● Extremely well made. • Metal upright, not plastic. When the three pieces are fasten together, looks very good. 👍👍 • Weighted base, to keep it from easily tipping over. ● Comes with its own remote, so not 100% dependent on your cell phone.👍👍 ● Comes with a magnetic clip to hold the remote to the light. I seem to always lose these remotes, problem solved. 👍👍 ● Different settings for white light, from cool to warm white and everywhere in between. ● Colors, every color imaginable. ● Gerat selection of predefined color setting and effects.👍👍 ● Has a DIY section so you can design your own preset colors and lighting effects. ● Has the option for the light to react to sound and music. ● Works with Alexa, including selecting colors and scenes. 👍👍 Cons: This is the only con I have. ● Wish there was an option for a taller version. The 55 inches (4 ft, 7 inches) tall, is fine for setting on an end table. I would love to have a pair of these at 84 inches (7 feet) tall for the corners of the room. To actually be a tall floor lamp. To wash the entire corner from floor to ceiling with color and effects. A lot of thought was put into the design and functionality. From its modern look, to its functionality, being able to use it as a reading light or to just lightning up a room (white light), to all the different lighting effects, allowing you to set the light to any mood you like (romantic, watching TV, reading, dancing to your favorite music). When I first got this light, I spent hours just going through and watching all the light effects. I did like it enough to order a second one. I placed them on end tables to make them taller.

Get this (Lyra) and skip the Black Govee Corner Floor Lamp
Many of you are wondering about the difference between this lamp, the Lyra, and the cheaper black Govee Corner Floor Lamp (which I'll call the CFL). I got both, so let's talk about them. And the differences are more than the similarities. Similarities 1. Both lights seem to share about the same brightness. I know the specs say the Lyra has more lumens, but in person at max brightness, they both look about the same. Differences 1. The Lyra looks much nicer with a bit more weight, is silver, and comes with a remote that magnetizes to the unit. Itooks pretty classy actually. The remote let's you turn it off/on, adjust brightness, and switch through basic colors. The CFL is very lightweight and has no physical switches other than an on/off button. The controller on the CFL is inconveniently placed on the floor along the power cord. 2. The Lyra seems to offer a few more prebuilt "Scenes" than the CFL. Not that you'll want to use most of them. But if you like scenes... 3. About those Scenes, the Lyra seems to operate at a much smoother, slower pace. Which is what you'd want. For some reason, the CFL operates the same patterns at a much faster pace, leaving subtle light color changes (like gradient like shifts, cherry blossom drops, etc) looking jerky and just plain terrible. As in, not usable for ambiance. This seems to be a thing that plagues a number of other Govee lights I have. Not sure if its a fault in manufacturing, a fault in the firmware, but I've seen a number of other folks ask about the light transition speeds too. Annoyingly, Govee still hasn't added the ability to adjust the speed of the scenes on any device I've used, let alone these two corner lamps. 4. The LED strip on the Lyra appears to have a denser array if LED modules than the CFL. This means you can see the individual LEDs on the CFL if you look at the light, but not so much on the Lyra. 5. On the Lyra, all the Scenes where something is falling, such as a meteor or leaves, has the light emulate from the top then flow to the bottom. On the CFL, most of the scenes are upside down. Example, the Fireworks Scene on the Lyra has the lights starting on the bottom then shoot upwards. On the CFL, the lights start at the top and shoot downward. This is the oddest problem with the CFL, and the reason for 2 stars. Not sure if this is a manufacturer issue (where the LED strip was made backwards, or the firmware needs fixing. It is impossible for the consumer to assemble upside down as only one end has the electrical plug for the lights. 6. Plan about 10 minutes to assemble either light. You'll have a bunch of tiny screws, but pretty simple. Instructions are good. That said, you can tell the construction of the Lyra is higher quality than the CFL. Final Review: The Lyra costs about 50% more than the more basic looking Corner Floor Lamp, though for that price you get a far more enjoyable to use lamp with light patterns that work smoothly and correctly. Overall, I recommend to buy this Lyra lamp and not the Govee Corner Floor Lamp.

Disappointing durability for the price
I've been a fan of Govee products in the past and generally trust the brand's quality — which makes this experience more frustrating. This lamp completely stopped working after about a year of use. For a light in the $100+ range, I expected it to hold up much longer than that. This one just didn't live up to the standard I've come to expect from Govee. Hoping this was a one-off and not a sign of declining quality control. Message to support went unanswered so all I'm left with is a broken lamp and an opportunity for a poor review.

A Vibrant Addition to Any Space!
I recently purchased the Govee Floor Lamp and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This modern LED lamp not only provides ample light but also adds a unique flair to my living room. The RGBIC Lyra Color Changing feature is a game-changer. With over 64 scenes to choose from, I can set the perfect ambiance for any occasion. Whether I'm winding down with a book, hosting a party, or simply relaxing, this lamp has a setting to match. The Wi-Fi app control is incredibly convenient. I can adjust colors, brightness, and scenes right from my phone, even when I'm not at home. The DIY modes allow for endless customization, giving me the freedom to create my own unique lighting schemes. One of my favorite features is the Music Sync. It transforms my living room into a dance floor, perfectly in sync with the beat of the music. It's like having my own personal light show! The lamp's sleek design fits seamlessly into any room, especially in corners where it adds a touch of sophistication. The build quality is excellent, and assembly was a breeze. Overall, the Govee Floor Lamp is a versatile and dynamic addition to any space. It has elevated the atmosphere of my home and become a conversation starter for guests. I highly recommend this lamp to anyone looking to infuse their living space with a burst of color and style.

Beautiful, but you'll want two of them
This lamp is stylish and throws out an impressive and very appealing range of colors. Assembly was easy. The amount of packaging in the box made it much more intimidating than it actually was. Once everything was unpacked it was manageable, and it was easy enough that I built the second light the next day without looking at the instructions at all. The build is very, very sturdy. After having dealt with similar, cheaper products made of plastic, it was very nice to feel how SOLID this lamp is. The backing of the lamp is steel and it won't suffer from being accidently knocked. Getting the lamp registered and working with the Govee app is also easy. The Govee app has some great features that suggest color schemes, so you can cycle through app-generated suggestions and save the ones you like. Since the suggestions are randomized, most of them won't be great, but you will find plenty of good ones. The app also has plenty of options, my main complaint is that the layout of the app and where to find what options can be confusing at times. It's sort of a "menu salad". As said the colors are beautiful. On a white wall with blended colors, it can completely change the feel of a room. They are surprisingly bright even in color mode. White light mode is so bright it can get almost blinding at night. However, I can't imagine having only one of these. Sure you can stick one in a corner and let it awkwardly light that corner up. But to REALLY give a room some life you'll want two that you can place opposite each other on a wall. And in that way... the real Con is the cost. If you want two, it's a $300 commitment. It was worth it to me but it probably won't be for everybody.

Some aspects of the app are a bit odd but the lights are super cool and work well as a group
I bought four of these to use in two rooms. It's a bit weird to configure the app to make them work in a group - unintuitive, perhaps...but otherwise these are crazy simple to set up and I like the fact that the remotes can be paired to more than one unit. That said, the units don't communicate with one another so in cases where the units get out of sync, the units may have different colors (in which case you need to get the app going to get them synced up again). Integration with Amazon Echo/Alexa was also crazy easy, and everything works the way these sorts of things typically do so there really wasn't any messing around with user manuals or instructions or anything like that. Firmware updates are fast and the units are reasonably responsive in group mode - instant when controlling them individually. I'm super happy with these; they look a little odd standing out in the open but i have them tucked behind furniture (and in one case behind a real floor lamp) for a subtle effect. I do wish they would get a bit dimmer. 0%-100% is more like 40%-100% in reality; they should really be able to dim down further for ambient light in the evenings. The dimmability issue and certain app 'weirdness' isn't enough to ding these things a full point because they are super cool with tons of neat modes and colors, etc....so 5 stars it is!

Love this floor lamp
I have several Govee products, including 3 different kinds of lights. The H6072 Floor Lamp is my favourite! I place it facing into a corner and set it to several different colours so it creates a colour gradient. It's on a timer so it turns on and off the same time each evening. The remote is a nice plus, so I don't have to have my phone nearby should I want to turn it on or off at different times. My only complaint is its durability. The first one I had barely lasted a year before the base stopped entirely working. Normally, I would not be able to give such a short lifespan product a 5 star review. However, after contacting support, and unsuccessfully troubleshooting the broken lamp, Govee promptly sent me a replacement. My overall experience with their products and support has been good so I can recommend.

Good product, bright and colorful
Happy with the product overall, but it started having issues after 2 years. The light will flicker and make an electric noise if set at high brightness. Only happens above 50% brightness. Less noticeable when light is red, but very noticeable when white. Still bright enough for me at 40%, hope it keeps going. I don't mind buying a new one at this price after 2 years, but I want to avoid creating e-waste. Video below, light is set at 100% brightness white (red colour is ambient).
