Green Wash Ltd TFA Outdoor Thermometer - antique tin

Very solid/weighty product, arrived in it's own blister pack, whilst in the room after opening packaging temp rose to approx what I thought room was at. Installed in a position that will be in the shade when summer arrives and this morning the temp outside temp was just at freezing when dawn broke and checking the thermometer it was also showing 0 - there looks to be 2 faint lines on the glass tube that I assume are to align the thermometer in the casting (looks to align to 10 & 25 degrees) - seems to be working as expected, it's easy to read when facing it. To be fair we not looking for 2 decimal place accuracy more an indication/confirmation of the approx temp, the aesthetics of the product are equally important and this product fulfils that criteria very well - it's of a good size and looks impressive on the 8" oak gatepost it's attached to. Very happy with the purchase

This thermometer is a good size, easy to read, and easy to put up. The screws and rawlplugs are supplied. It came really well packed and I’m more than pleased with it.

I love the modern sleek design. It is easy to read and is now one of our daily rituals. I say our but I think it is more truthful to say my .... I love walking out and standing in front of it to read the day's morning temperature. Sometimes surprised (will never forget 10th August 2020 when it read 33 degrees at 10 in the morning and still stood at 33 degrees at 10 in the evening - definitely a hottie!) but never disappointed at accuracy.

Looks good but inaccurate. Comparing it to my weather station which is always accurate, it’s 4-5 degrees out. So regard it as a garden ornament, rather than a serious instrument.

This is easy to read through our side window, where we have it positioned in a shaded position outside. I trust the temperature measurements. The thermometer is big and clear to read. It has survived a really cold winter and a record-heat summer so far, so it really is built for outside use.

Ik vind het een erg mooie thermometer Ik moet wel goed ervoor gaan staan om het te kunnen lezen maar dat is met elke thermometer. Schroeven waren wat te lang maar gelukkig had ik zelf nog wat extra.(kortere) Zoals u ziet is het nu 0 graden..

He comprado este termómetro para instalarlo en el exterior de una casa rural. El termómetro funciona muy bien tanto en altas como en bajas temperaturas (por debajo de los 0 grados también). He comparado sus mediciones con un termómetro digital y clava las temperaturas (ver fotos). En cuanto a su construcción me gusta mucho. Se trata de una aleación de metal que parece muy resistente trabajada con un bajo relieve que imita el hierro forjado. Por la parte posterior el termómetro es negro y liso. Es muy grande eso si, pero esos cuarenta y pico centímetros quedan muy bien cuando los cuelgas en la pared, por cierto el termómetro viene con la tornilleria para fijarlo donde quieras. El packaging bien, viene extremadamente bien protegido con mucho papel de burbujas, aunque pasas un buen rato para desenpaquetarlo. En conclusión, una gran compra que por 10€ parece aún mejor.
