Very easy to secure, very easy to remove, no need for batteries! And very bright. Just a great little light. I obviously had agreement on the trail, as I only had it a month and a half before it got swiped from my bike; (my bad: I failed to slip the light off the bike and into my pocket to take with me, even though both removing and securing this light is very easy to do). I explained the situation to Tom Knoblaugh and he offered me a free replacement, from URG, for the first light that got swiped! Just a great company!!I I am purchasing a second one as well, for my sister, who also loves to ride. The light came with a 20% discount "Thank you" card, for my next URG purchase, which will be that light. We have tried other lights from Bell and the Zefal Manta light set, which both have a tiny fraction the lumens of this one. I wanted something compact and simple, with a nice secure rubber strap, just like the easy-peasy little Bell Arella light, but not so weak. This URG light is so much brighter. The Zefal Manta set requires you to borrow a tiny, tiny screwdriver from a mouse in order to change the batteries. Better not lose that tiny little screw! Same size as eyeglasses screws. The Zefal is not nearly bright as this one either, and the Zefal light is too big and bulky; difficult to get on and off the bike, too. This URG light is perfect in every way: NO batteries! NO screws or compartments to lose, NO trouble getting it onto the handlebars, NO flopping around like the heavy Zefal light. It is small and compact and easy to remove, like the Bell Arella, but SOOOO much brighter! Yet it takes into account oncoming traffic and is designed in such a way as to not blind drivers. I also think the rubber strap is perfect; it locks very securely and does not jiggle like other lights do. It holds firmly, but I can also tighten it just the same as a belt buckle, too. The rubber stretches a little, for a tight grip. The light can also slide off, from it's base, so just the light itself can slip into your pocket, like a flashlight. Very simple. Very bright. No batteries needed. A great purchase. Review: The light works wonderfully at first - The light works wonderfully at first, however after only 2 months of moderate usage the light stopped working the LED is having almost no illumination.

Easy to install securely and switch between bikes and more ...
I've bought, lost, destroyed, and have had stolen many bike lights over the years. This light, much cheaper than some I've had, was quite a pleasant surprise. Easy to install securely and switch between bikes and more than bright enough for my nightly urban commute. Holds the charge quite long and seems reasonably durable. I like the rectangular beam of light it casts. The included tail light was also a pleasant surprise, as most inexpensive light kits include pretty useless lights, but this one is quite nice and actually replaced my current tail light.

Very bright and stable headlight
Since these lights recharge via USB cable, the first thing I did was fully charge both, then time how long each took to run down. The headlight lasted 6 hours on full brightness before going dim, as URG claimed it would. I didn't time the lower settings, figuring they'd definitely be longer than 6 hours. The taillight is very bright, with a couple of brightness and flash settings. I couldn't run the full battery drain test because the light would simply shut off after about 3 hours operation. I could turn it back on and it still seemed plenty bright, but I was unable to get an accurate duration for the taillight. Mount and removal of each are simple tasks, and they hold firmly to handlebar or seat post. The rubber plugs that cover the USB ports are rather fragile - I felt that I could easily pull them completely off either light if I wasn't careful. I have not ridden in heavy rain yet, but I think these plugs will provide sufficient protection from moisture. All in all these are bright and stable lights, that easily attach and detach. Charging time is quick.

Safety concerns.
This light is well constructed and has great battery life. It is dimmer than my past 400 lumen lights. I would estimate around 300 lumens for this light. The upper light cutoff is a great idea for not distracting drivers. Unfortunately, it also has a lower cutoff that results in in a backout of the road from 3 feet to 12 feet out. This makes it hard to detect road hazards like broken glass and small potholes. Also, it produces a narrow beam with little side light. This makes it hard to detect dashing critters that try to cross the road. Still, it may be a good light if you live in an urban area with moderate or high ambient light.

very bright head light, so-so mount, not very bright tail light that comes with a bad mount.
Only used it three-four times so far, but: Regarding the headlight: 1. super bright and has a wide beam which is great. 2. easy to install and use. BUT: 1. Quite heavy - noticeably more than the others. 2. The mount doesn't sit firmly, and I think the headlight might change its adjustment (up-down) 3. No way to adjust the light left-right. 4 . Annoying green light (battery indicator) when the light is on - pointing right at you. As to the tail light: 1. No very bright. 2. Bad mount. After 4 months of daily commuting, the headlight got really dim. Contacted the company, and they were super service-oriented and promised to send a replacement asap. Very good experience.

I have had good lighting with those but let's be honest
I have used lights before that use batteries. I have had good lighting with those but let's be honest, not too good for the environment. My last light was stolen so I was willing to try a rechargeable one. The light itslf looked great out of the box and seemed to be well crafted. Putting it on my bike was less than one minute and seemed sturdy. My first night out, the lighting was perfect which is definitely needed when no street lamps are around. The light did not move around at all when turning or going full speed down a hill. The taillight was just as effective. I don't see myself going back to batteries if this is the product that can do it without. URG, I will definitely tell my riding group about this product. Thanks UPDATE - I have had this light for some time now and still am finding it easy to use and effective. The strap and light itself does not jiggle around as another review mentioned. It stays focused where my handle bars are pointed, that's it. My brother in Colorado and an old riding partner in Florida both have one and have only said positive things. All three of us compete in triathlons and expect to get quality gear to really help us finish strong. Thanks again.

Good light output, well built and decently priced for a cycling set
I've used the light set a few times together mainly for increased visibility when on the roads. I will say that the headlight has decent light output but I haven't tried conditions where I would rely on it 100% such as unlit pathways or trails at night. It works very well on paths that have low lighting or at dusk on the high setting and makes you quite visible when you have the set flashing. I've used them without any issue for multiple rides without charging so I would say at least 6 hours of use with the headlight on high and taillight on flashing. May try to track usage to see what the overall battery runtime is but haven't had a chance yet. Overall I would highly recommend this set as an economical lighting set that should fit most peoples needs.
