Excellent
I have been doing music regularly for 35 years, and this is the best performance mic I have found. I actually think I will use it in the studio on my next project, even though we own some studio mics that are much more expensive. I have been through many, many microphones through the years and my pick for a cheaper mic would be the Shure SM57A condenser, which we also have a few of, but if you want excellence in a microphone, this is the one.

If you are wondering if it is worth the money, it is. Every penny. I use this mic with a Bose PA and it is the best setup I have ever used.

Make sure capsule is true Neumann
My live performances I use Neumann KMS 105 and DPA d:facto 4018.DPA is the ultimate but Neumann has a lovely darker colour sound for different flavours of my songs.But the DPA is the best live mic I've ever used.Made in Denmark.Beware allot of faux Neumann (Chinese fakes)& they're rubbish -Cheers
