I have been taking these for a few years at night time. I do feel I fall asleep quicker and last longer sleeping. I do feel they help with anxiety as well.

As a college student, I would often anxiety, especially when assignments multiply. I would sometimes feel emotionally tired and lack motivation in the morning. I came across 'Zen' while looking for something that would have anti-stress effects on me without the side effects. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. It's been over three weeks now that I've been taking one pill before sleeping every night. I noticed that when I take the pill right before sleeping, I wake up full of energy, hope, and with an internal sense of peace, or lack of anxiety, which I normally mostly feel during holidays. However, with these pills, it is as if the things that used to bother me or cause me to have an anxious behaviour diminished. I feel much more peaceful and optimistic. I am looking forward to having these pills for the next months, and see whether my state will further improve.

It tastes horrible makes your urine bright yellow too

I apologize my review is a bit long but I feel it is important to explain how my situation was and the areas ZEN has helped improve. I have been taking anti anxiety meds for 8 months now because I had insomnia for two years and was diagnosed with anxiety disorder. Although the meds worked to calm me and i could sleep, I felt fatigued most of the time but i did not relate this to the medication at that time. I also went to see my doctor because I started not sleeping again some nights and at the same time would not cope very well with stress at work which is a lot! My doctor advised increasing the dose to double. This is when i started seeking alternatives as i did not want to be overdependent on these meds. I purchased this product first because it contained the B complex and then the positive reviews from people who had suffered from anxiety. When I received it i immediately stopped the medications i was taking for anxiety (I do not recommend this to anyone without doctors supervision, i took a personal risk) The first week i did not sleep very well, i would wake up in the middle of the night and not get sleep until early hours of the morning as my body was already used to the meds . I stuck with it for some reason and by the middle of the second week I was sleeping like a baby. After week 3 i noticed that i would fall asleep, stay asleep until morning. The other plus is that my fatigue is gone, I rise early and i find myself eager to make breakfast for my family and feel like i have more energy at work. Lastly the stress at work does not get me down like it use to. I am now ordering another two bottles so that i do not run out! Anxiety had become the center of my life but now i feel i have my life back and i would highly recommend ZEN. I hope my review can help someone, just like the other reviews helped me find this awesome product!

While I know others have had great experiences with Zen, mine was horrific. I don’t want to give full blame to the pill because it was more about my body’s reaction to it. I have only ever been allergic to Penicillin in my life. I’ve never had random reactions to anything, especially not something that is all natural like Zen. But the day after I started taking it, I started losing my taste buds in the front of my tongue. At first I thought maybe I had burned my tongue on some food but just didn’t remember. The next day I woke up with cuts and ulcers all over my tongue, and my lips were so dry they started to crack everywhere. It was all extremely painful. The next day I suffered through the pain and was barely able to taste anything, but by dinner time the ulcers had started moving down my throat and I was unable to eat because of the pain. I went straight to the doctor and discovered that the ONLY thing that has changed in my life in the last 4 days was taking this supplement. I immediately stopped taking it and have had to gargle a prescription mouthwash to help with the ulcers and swelling, and things have immediately started to get better. I know this company had no intention of anyone having this type of reaction, but it has caused me to be so miserable with pain. The hardest part is what I wrote in the beginning of this post. I’m a fairly healthy individual overall. I don't take any medications, I only have one medicinal allergy, and I usually react to otc items very well. This was just a shock of an event and has put me through hell in the meantime. I hope everyone else doesn’t have this reaction, but in case you quickly start to see the same symptoms I do, I want this post to help that person know to stop taking this supp as quickly as possible.

Expiry date 2024. Repeat purchase as it seems to help in my anxiety. Amazon US needs to better protect the package. Boxes are torn.
